Xbox is definitely user friendly. I just don't like the controllers, my hands have molded to the PS controllers since the PSX.

He's right, too. In a lot of the gameplay footage you may as well hipfire everyone with the SMGs because if they're far away enough to where you need to use the sights odds are you won't get the kill. It was expensive, it didn't have any games I wanted, and none of my friends had it, so I ended up going with the Xbox. I wouldn't mind having one now, though. It seems pretty neat.
Playstation master console race anyways SMGs have always been useless as long, don't see why they would change that don't remind me of the time I tried to kill an AFK enemy (well, or really stupid) across bloc with a silenced P90 I swear it took half of the 25 round clip

Need I remind you of the UMP silenced? A shotgun, assault rifle, sniper, and smg packed into 1 gun.

SMGs have hardly been useless at long range. They haven't had really significant damage dropoff. The only thing stopping them from being really good at long range is the recoil. In MW3 they're increasing the damage dropoff, so that you do really minimal damage at long range.

A bunch of people who went to the XP event said that SMGs have huge damage falloff now and that you need to take the range proficiency to bring them back to CoD4-MW2 levels.

I never understood competitive CoD. Its such an easy game. CS, sure. You need to squint your eyes to aim with the crosshair and have cyborg like reflexes to play in leagues and shit. In CoD, you need the right set of perks, press m2 and then m1.
