Its a waste of time and just makes them suck more. Even if they can do somewhat good, they wont do as good as someone with a smg or even a pistol.

I used to play Black Ops on the PS3 at a friend's house. We had a custom soundtrack blaring from his computer speakers and split-multi-owned the entire world. Twice.
Then we tried Sticks and Stones, that shit was intense.
Awwww damn my local gamestop ran out of hardened editions for MW3, but the manager said if they had extra copies upon release that they'd work something out if anybody dropped their copy or if they had extras to sell. Went ahead and also pre-ordered (just in case) CoD Elite with it.

quickscoping is pretty damn practical in cod because of quick-scope-in times (no pun intended) at medium range.
close range you're better off no-scoping or barrel stuffing
long range... regular scoping does the trick just fine.
I'd rather switch to my magnum with tac knife, unless i'm 100% unprepared and i turn around to see the guy 4 feet from me, in that case i just spray the WA till i'm out then switch to the pistol if i'm alive that long.

I think you have more options on the PC, but i'm basing it on my experience, and based off of what i saw, i'm not largely impressed with the beta.

Or just switch to your secondary (assuming you aren't asstarded enough to stick a launcher with a Sniper Rifle). Kind of ensures you will actually kill the thing attacking you rather than relying on age old game engine exploits and auto-aim (if you are on a console).

It would really help if they had Caspian Border servers running in the console Beta, that is a true BattleField map and gamemode. Whereas Rush was shoehorned in to keep the mongoloids happy.

If it's anything like the Alpha, they are mainly testing the backend and gameplay functions, rather than looking at map balance. From what I've heard the backend testing is really needed as the Beta is being a bit of a shit sometimes in terms of networking.

You could do the same thing in BO, but only with ACOG/Reflex sights.
So the MW3 achievements are out, and thus spoilers for the campaign...why do they do this, i don't know...

Personal opinion,
Playing once a week keeps it kinda fun. I think you shouldn't necessarily drop it, but maybe play it less often. Or try to shy away from FPS' in general for a while till the end of the month.

I do use pistols for clearing buildings though. I only no-scope when I haven't finished off an enemy with a deagle and said enemy is out of knife range.
