Did the same thing a week ago. I was going to use it for my summer mapping contest entry.
None of the less, great job. I just parented the env_project_texture to the cube and forgot about it. I didn't even bother tweaking the properties.

The thing that bothers me is using old aperture buttons for time control, perhaps use the dirty new aperture button skin, or make a custom texture (if you really need to have a different style for the time control buttons).

Oh, I will be making custom textures for the time buttons. I'm gonna enter this for the Thinkingwithportals contest and one of the rules were that there was not allowed to have custom content in the maps. I'll be making the skins after the contest is done.

Go to Map and Load Pointfile.
This will load a line which will point from a prop to a place where there is a leak in your map. This usually means that part of your map is not enclosed, making it calculate light improperly.
Basically, there's a crack in your map.

One last question: I made working elevators, arrival and departure, but how can I change the potatOS gun to the regular portal gun?
Can anyone upload instance/coop/coop_spawn_room.vmf I saved it with edits and forgot to change the name.
I start with instance and I don't know how to open the cube dropper on that instance. (gameplay/cube_dropper_shared.vmf) I want to make open it when I put a box on a button.

Ok, I've hit a road block. I've put all the necessary elevator instances at the end of my map. The issue is that i don't know how to make the elevator not say any text and to bring the player back to the main menu.

You have to edit the actual instance file.

you are stupid as fuck if you think that it's not helpful to anyone who knows anything about hammer, there's many many people who know tons about hammer and haven't experimented with any of the instancing stuff. you're acting like it's something you instantly learn as soon as you start mapping when in reality it's something that hasn't been very well documented until recently.
