I like the way you used the fizzlers as a sort of atmospheric shield, however you really need to label the buttons.

I just played it, very short but also very good and it looked good.
You should know though that you can get to the exit door without using the box at all-
you can just spray blue paint on the moving bit (using the panel further back) and then run to the button that shuts down the water, let the gel come by and pass the water and just jump on it and get up to the exit. I guess you can fix this by moving the button that disables the water further back, or just make it accept buttons only?
But once I realized that can't be the right way, I dropped down and did it right. I really like the real solution, not often do you see the moving rail, a shame really.

Apply the fizzle texture to a brush that is not solid (func_illusionary), then place a trigger_hurt there.

quick question regarding sounds, you have to run the snd_whatever command for it to pick up new sounds out of your sound folder, but do you have to do that when the wavs are in the BSP itself? i could have sworn i downloaded a custom map that had custom sounds embedded without having to rebuild the cache

Nice demonstration video, but I noticed something while playing it: I don't know if this has something to do with my settings, but props in the distance don't appear, i.e. the crushers, and the broken walls.
Also, I released a complete playthrough of my boss fight, fully updated with talking cores and such.
