You in the wrong community yo
Is there a facepunch DOTA2 group I could join?
Lina goes AFK after she gives away First Blood, comes back 2 minutes at the end of the game and feeds them two kills.
If she was not there, we would have had a better chance of winning. Drow Ranger was never a problem cause she was never with the team and when she was, I had her in my ult :v:.
You in the wrong community yo

Unfortunately
You know what? I've never understood this entitlement complex of new players.
Let me help you understand something, newbies: We fucking hate you. You come into our games because the matchmaking system works like that. You then pick a hero you can't play, make stupid decisions, and get mad at us when we tell you how wrong you are. You draw the wrong conclusions based on information you're presented, but because you drew the conclusions you think you're right because your amazingly intelligent brain analyzed the problem and discovered a quasi solution.
You play like a retard, and literally every move you make shows good players how bad you are. Dota is a game of refinement. You can fuck up literally every possible action you can engage in, no matter how small, and somehow succeed in doing so in most cases despite that being statistically unlikely.
Yes, this game has an awful community. It's because this game isn't about you. We shouldn't have to accomodate troglodytes like you new players on a regular basis, but we do and we have to put up with it.
We are not entitled to provide you with help. Most of us were not provided with help, we put up with the community and stuck with it until we figured out how fucking bad we were and got better. I now understand how fucking terrible I am at this game, and I play with people who were MMRing 1900 in heroes of newerth. There is such a huge difference between the way a new player plays and how an experienced player plays that a good player thinks you're fucking retarded. It's just as much of a difference as starcraft, but it takes much longer to be able to tell the difference.
In short, stop whining about the community and take a look at how fucking bad you are. If you haven't played at least 500 games of dota or a dota like game, you're not even worth talking to but some of us do anyway.
everybody was new at one point
stop being such an elitist
people like you are the reason why most people hate the DOTA series and stay away from it like the plague

What about my statements do you disagree with?
I have a right to be as elitist as I would like to be. And I don't even think I'm that bad. Have you not seen me posting on every other page explaining things to people?
My point is that good players are mean to new players because new players ruin games and are bad. I went through it, like everyone else, and people just have to get used to it until they get good enough to not get yelled at.
And honestly, I couldn't care less who wants to or doesn't want to join dota.
tell someone "get good" enough and they'll eventually do it
lol
you are literally having a tantrum
was it because you lost a game
lol

Not having a tantrum. I don't pub any more, so that's helped my sanity a great deal.

No, but people don't listen in pubs because they think they know the right way to do it.

They came to play a game, not listen to someone tell them what to do. While you have good intentions, people just don't care. They think what they're doing is right and someone telling them "Hey do X" can either have a nice or a ghghghgh reaction.
Then again, its a moba community. It's full of asshats.

I'm a bit confused by this. My original big long post was directed at people who go on the forums and whine about how they got yelled at cuz they are new and bad. I'm not really sure what you're talking about.
The post I quoted
The post I quoted
I'm still not talking about those people because they don't have a complex. Or at least they don't tell anyone they do.
I'm just replying to that quote, not the long one you typed.

stop acting like you're high and mighty, you're probably bad as fuck too. atleast when people whine about the community, a majority of them want to learn but it doesn't help with your shit attitude for them to get turned away, or cause them to become a dick like you and play bad to piss people off.
I'm just replying to that quote, not the long one you typed.
Ok.
05:59 - Σηαλαιυν: so
06:00 - Σηαλαιυν: how do games get players
06:00 - Σηαλαιυν: if new players shouldnt be allowed to play
06:00 - [IHG]Melonmonkey(B): when did i say i cared about that?
ohgodhesactuallythatstupid
I think its safe to random now since I can stand the rage of the dota elite.

I am bad as fuck, but I take my beatings when I deserve them and use them to become a better player.
I don't really think you understand. I enjoy helping new people. However, new players are not entitled to help and it's annoying as fuck to see people complaining about the community when most people who get yelled at deserve it.
Really, I don't understand why you and many others keep assuming that it's an obligation for everyone to be open and welcoming as a community. It's not. I can be as hostile to bads as I please.
And I would never play bad to piss people off. Ever.

Haha, you think you can rating whore by coming into a thread with a snippet from steam chat.
It's true though, I don't have any care in the world for how dota collects new players. I am NOT obligated to be nice to new people just because they are new.

So will you go off yelling at a person with muscular atrophy who's a bit bitter about his condition because he can't run too well?

How is that even a remotely similar situation?
your logic makes no sense
new players are not allowed to help each other get better??

So will you go off yelling at a person that sucks at DOTA2 who's a bit bitter about the shit community because he can't play too well?

Being new to something and having a medical condition are equivalent?
And this is why I play with bots.

One sucks moving his legs, one sucks at moving his hands and fingers (and making perfect mental decisions).

Nomadic and Kendra are either retarded or purposely attempting to slander me, because I've said nor claimed none of these things.

Wow. Again taking quotes out of context. Lets get the whole thing please.

I meant bad about being elitist.
