spirit breaker needs vision to charge, if you break LOS his charge stops
Charge gives him vision on target wherever the target is going to be. Charging into their base would be the stupidest thing to do, so it counters the charge pretty much.
He can stop charging manually...
by pressing S i assume? [editline]13th January 2012[/editline] we should probably put this thread in the valve section for the next thread because you know, it's a valve game now and all

What creeps me out that my friend mained SB during dota1, he was good as him by the time. Had 3 russian SB's this morning, they all went 2/12+ and failed hard. Luckily those ones were on enemy team 4th game I had one on my side, he actually understood how he worked and was not russian. The Russians did these (all of them): -Maxed E (bashproc) -Didn't gank at all -1st item boots -used hppot every time they got autoattacked (go back to LoL) - Rushed Poor man's with MoM following right away. -Used ult on their(our(me)) initiator (ES, Tide, Axe respectively), this wouldn't be bad if I was AT LEAST 2 FEET AWAY -And as usual, spammed "cyka, noob go delete game, omg this team" as the only english communication (Note that he was 1/9 at 10 min) Russians should really get their own queue, they just ruin the game for others and they would enjoy playing with each other I bet.
Bara is fucking OP as shit.
Are you fucking kidding me? I put it in GGD for a reason. Fuck. The LoL and HoN thread are there and I'd like people from those threads (mostly LoL) to check this thread too. Thanks a shotton Haxxer.
Wowza, Haxxer. Get it moved back?

There's no reason for this thread to get special treatment, it's a Valve game, so it goes in the Valve section.
There's no reason for this thread to get special treatment, it's a Valve game, so it goes in the Valve section.
It's not special treatment. It's keeping the thread in a place where other people who play other games in the genre would be more inclined to see it.
I noticed Ursa starts limping when he's at low health I love the little details like that

Wow, I was wondering where the thread went. [editline]0[/editline] Actually, the easiest way to solve the russian problem is to add a " Russia " region. Im sure they will apreciate the lower latency.

This would condem entirety of Russia on Moscowian servers and alike, as there are not as many of them on the East and North in Russia. Valve probably has to sign agreements for servers all around the world. Russia is quite behind in terms of "quick deals" (quite a few steam games not released yet in Eastern Europe, which is under 1 C - Russian Game Company - rule), what would create problems and delays again. Also, what would keep players from just switching the region? Believe me, in terms of "ping", stuffed Moscowian servers < plenty of European servers. + This could add hostility within the community. "Go back to your region!" "Let's raid russian region for these retards!" And vice versa. [editline]13th January 2012[/editline]
It's a stereotype that pretty much always holds true. I'd say 98% of the time.
And that's what I meant. Let's leave shit like stereotypes behind, maybe save it for some jokes at most.
No. As I said, 98% of the time it's a fact. It's not even a tenuous stereotype.
No. As I said, 98% of the time it's a fact. Shit spewing teens that curse in slavic language =/= entirety of Russian players Some of better Russian players don't even have nicknames suggesting their nationality (because what for?) Heck, some I've seen to be as helpful as to write down translations for others to put in a report against said "teens".
jesus christ you can see new pudge's rot from a kilometer away
No. As I said, 98% of the time it's a fact. It's not even a tenuous stereotype.
It's fun how all the shitty players seem to be Russians. Premading with a friend: "Fuck, this Riki/AM/Drow/*any agility carry here who we rely on* is shit!" "I bet he's Russian. He's gonna start talking aany time now..." "Паска cyka vodka vodka vodka noobs"

I honestly wonder whether some people have some keybinds with text in russian, so if they do bad, they just type that and part of the blame goes to collective "Russians" group.
Yes, I have. 98% of the Russians I encounter (and check their profile) are fucking awful.
I'M SORRY BABE. I didn't actually hear you say don't pick another melee, the guys were talking over you on mumble. Besides the fact our dark seer paused and d/ced (crashed?) 3 minutes in, we weren't actually going bad.
