Lol night stalker is such a no skill hero. I love playing him when I want to break a losing streak.
N'aix can rape Night Stalker the hell are you talking about? I find N'aix better for breaking a losing streak then NS.
I got a Dota 2 gift from a friend!

Time to migrate. Can't wait to start playing.
Niax can rape Night Stalker the hell are you talking about? I find Niax better for breaking a losing streak then NS.
who the hell is Niax
who the hell is Niax
lifestealer
lifestealer
Hint: [sp]He's called N'aix[/sp]
Whoops I got the name wrong.
Hint: [sp]He's called N'aix[/sp]
God dammit I just fixed this Anyways I find a much better carry then Night Stalker
Lost a game (went 3/4/17 as Skeleton King) because some friggin' Sand King kept backdooring us. Also Gorm and pvt. meh, where the hell did you guys find those.
I agree with you Gorm, but NS rapes early-mid game, which at least I find N'aix to do, not so much.
N'aix can rape Night Stalker the hell are you talking about? I find N'aix better for breaking a losing streak then NS.
Night Stalker and N'aix have completely different roles so it's hard to compare them. I like how NS lets me make sure my allies win their lanes, regardless of how retarded. My typical first night is 5 or 6 kills, which ensures victory for my teammates. It means I don't have to risk having a bunch of retards that I have to carry. The retards carry me after 40 minutes of rape.
Well I was against Broodmother as Night Stalker and needless to say that I got my shit handed to me, couldn't get decent farm cause I was outharassed. So Broodmother is a good pick against NS in the early game too. And Nai'x can pretty much kill anyone late game unless they have a permastun like Void or something like that, his lifesteal ability is just stupid.
N'aix + NS/Riki is a horror though. N'aix just hides inside him and they become a vessel of doom and destruction.

You watch their picks first and make sure you'll be able to get last hits mid.
They had Storm Spirit and Windrunner so I picked NS. And fuck picking counter heroes everyone picks shit anyway, won only 1 game today. Rest was always a brain dead team that had no map awareness. DoTA is so frustrating if you have losing streaks.

Now I feel like my allies are pretty close to my skill level. People play smart, and no one does dumb things.

Played my first real game as Furion, and did pretty good. My team decided to let our Riki go alone why I as jungling, so I had to go and stop his lane constantly early on. I went 9/4/12 at the end.

I can't even carry a team to victory because the other team knows what the hell they're doing while being fed by my team.
So I wanted to practice with Drow Ranger a bit, so I set bots to Medium and decided to try going mid instead of top or bot. End result.
So I wanted to practice with Drow Ranger a bit, so I set bots to Medium and decided to try going mid instead of top or bot. Pic End result.
Is there a way to tell the bots where you want to go?
Is there a way to tell the bots where you want to go?
Kinda. You have to ping the area or location you want them to go to. They usually understand, but even then they might not 100% back you up. Like, instead of joining in a teambattle, they might simply tower hug even if you ping the specific enemy heros you want to fight.
first time morph :D i had 100 cs by 20 minutes, i couldn't farm much more after though
Also, me, SnowCanary, lionheart, EliteGuy, and a few friends of ours regularly play inhouses together where we practice our skills or try out new heros. Sometimes even a Valve staff member, Son of Thor, joins us! If you want to join us, here's the Steam link: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/DOTA2Practice . I have it on private for the time being because I really wanna keep out beggars or people who aren't really going to play with us, so if you wanna join just send me a PM. We play very frequently, like once a day (if not more). The only thing I ask is that you just send me a scoreboard of a recent game you were in, mostly just so I can bare in mind what kinda skill level any of you guys are.
Why did this thread have to be apart of the same sub-forum that has a huge drama clog inside of it. (Refering to Mecha/S2D), don't even see this popular thread on the front page anymore.

Some of us play five-man matchmaking sometimes but we mainly organize practice lobbies. None of us are that good as in we can take down the whole lobby, and most of us are still learning ourselves, and even if you want to learn a new hero we're game for that. It's a pretty relaxed atmosphere unlike your average pub match.

Yeah, we never prolong a match if it's unbalanced and any hard feelings go away within a game. [editline]17th January 2012[/editline]
sent an invite, respond back turd.
make me nerd
