Only problem I have with pudge's hook is that my game has "lag" and has a delay casting spells and shit, so it normally takes 0.5-1 sec for it to work and some times it takes up to 3 secs to react which makes me miss shit

DON'T PLAY INVOKER FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MATCHMAKING! Play with bots first! Its not an easy hero. Hes a brutally powerful hero if played properly, he can initiate, carry and finish off running heroes. Plus he has a shit load of escape mechanisms.

What is a good way to learn invoker? I'm trying to read some guides that show some good combinations and stuff but so far it just seems...difficult. I feel like I'd just get stuck with one set of spells for most of the game.
