HoN is faster paced and more gank orientated I think, and the meta currently uses ranged carries and semi-carries last I played, while Dota 2 has a melee carry meta with a lot more focus on carries farming for the late game.

Things I don't like about HoN: More bitch gank/insta kill/wombo combo heroes, slow balancing, community (shit heads every other game but I deal with it) Likes about HoN: More established community(less people that have no idea what the fuck they're doing, but they still exist), better courier controls(feels more responsive to me), more accessible shop, faster turn radius, voting (remakes/kicks/concede/pause), Animations/sound (DotA spells feel weak(You'll definitely feel witch slayers ult, Lion's just feels like he points at you and a laser hits you)), good matchmaking system, game modes (single draft) Things DotA does better: More even balance, graphics(particle effects, models, textures), auto combine items, voice acting, more zoomed out camera Don't like: Feels sloow (turning radius, attack animations feel odd), no stats (KDR, W/L ratio (I know this is bad for the community but I like the feeling of that I'm progressing and improving), fucking wards only bought in bundles of 2 HNGGG, courier must be in shop to upgrade FUCK. and more but i'm lazy [editline]24th January 2012[/editline] [url]http://honwiki.net/wiki/DotA_vs_HoN[/url] More on bottom past all the charts

I just played a game with a Morphling on my team, he was carrying with him 2 recipes for Linken's Sphere. :downs: And I thought I was a bad player.

also during that veno game i saved brass like, twice. when he was being chased through our jungles by the entire enemy team, he was about to be jumped on by huskar but NOPE, as soon as brass blinked away i push sticked huskar the other way so he couldn't jump on brass. SO PRO.

Well, I just played a game where we were losing very badly and the other team spawn camped us for like 10-20 minutes by having their Pudge keep hooking us out of spawn. I really wish the game had a surrender system now.

Got the beta and played my first match as a sniper, thought I was doing pretty well, enjoying myself etc, even though I had no clue how my actions were affecting the match. I got a few kills and stuck around the middle slowly pushing it up till someone said 'b', I asked what it meant and got abused for like the next 10 minutes from my whole team :( We won though, couldn't have been too important, I assume it meant Back?
