Therefore two bracers hard counters 4 levels of dagon, and cost less than 1/4 as much.

Techies maybe but Spiritbreaker is not a troll hero, its a magnificent initiator with Scepter and if feed more it can seriously beat you up. Techies is mostly a defense hero or junglers rapist.

They are picked to stomp bad players and are only good at doing that.

I'm new to playing, literally. Was always interested in the first one, but could never find a copy of WC3. So, just recently, I found a beta key. Started playing against bots to at least learn something about the heroes. Eventually, I started playing Skeleton King, simple Carry for me to understand and learn. After being told a proper skill build from a friend, I practiced a couple more matches against bots, eventually having my build with Heart of Tarrasque and Armlet, with Helm of the Dominator and Power Treads on the side. Probably not the best build, but someone new like me, it worked. Went into my first real match, got stomped on the first 15 minutes thanks to being matched against Broodmother and Pugna, then just farmed for a bit. After a few lucky kills and some upgrades, I went to work on getting my build squared up. A few more assists and tower kills later, I got my full build. Eventually went 11/4/8 (best on the server), and maxed out at 25. Just played my second match earlier. Couldn't farm properly (Anti-Mage/Dazzle combo screwed our bottom a bit), no one was covering bottom at all, we had a player complain of high lag and just sat in spawn, then the other team started group killing like crazy. I eventually got called out for "feeding" because while my attempts at try to hold back creeps from attack our last middle tower were an act of desperation in my eyes, it eventually just got me killed. At the moment, I'm trying to learn Alchemist while trying to improve as Skeleton King. I'm new to all of this, so I'm expecting criticism, but I'm also hoping for some pointers/tips, whatever.
