Soulstorm was okay, personally I enjoyed it quite a lot. Get it if you like WH40K, otherwise skip it.
Any worthy mods for it? Something like Firestorm over Kronus of course.
How do you know of the sale? Also the big thing will be DoW3.
They announced it when they announced the demo
Players who have pre-ordered the digital PC version of Space Marine through Steam will receive an exclusive early access period starting on the 18th of August, running through the weekend. Steam will also be running a Warhammer 40,000 bundle sale at a very special rate during the same period. Check out STEAM for more details.

They announced it when they announced the demo
When the demo is open for all?
When the demo is open for all?
23rd, 22nd if you make an account on the Space Marine forums ("the honor guard")
Gamescom has a Life-size drop pod and a door/stained glass window.
Judging by the people next to it, that Drop Pod is incorrectly scaled
Judging by the people next to it, that Drop Pod is incorrectly scaled
Probably scaled for a normal human being instead of a Space Marine.
Probably scaled for a normal human being instead of a Space Marine.
Still, should have been scaled to Space Marine standards. It is, afterall a Space Marine Drop Pod
Still, should have been scaled to Space Marine standards. It is, afterall a Space Marine Drop Pod
Would have been better, but it might also be that it would exceed max height, seems that this smaller one is already very close to the ceiling lights.
Only a couple of feet difference really, would have been able to fit it in there
Judging by the people next to it, that Drop Pod is incorrectly scaled
God forbid.
God forbid.
God forbid that I'd like details that could be correct to the 20 odd year history of Warhammer 40k to actually be correct.
God forbid that I'd like details that could be correct to the 20 odd year history of Warhammer 40k to actually be correct.
Nothing has ever been to scale in 40k ever. Video games, table top, real props. EVER
And that pisses me off. Ok I understand we can't have 1 billion Orkz running around in a game, but at least get the scale of the units right please?
So? It's in the lore that Space Marines are a certain size and logically, Space Marine equipment should be geared towards that scale, just because it hasn't been in Tabletop or videogames, doesn't mean it should never happen. The units are all not to scale, because they are all 28mm Heroic scaled plus for balance purposes.
Can someone explain what vassal is? I've heard about it but i'm not exactly sure.
Can someone explain what vassal is? I've heard about it but i'm not exactly sure.
Let's you play table top on a computer against a friend / friends
Let's you play table top on a computer against a friend / friends
Oh nice, is it exactly like TT with dice and same rules and everything?
Oh nice, is it exactly like TT with dice and same rules and everything?
Pretty much, it's a pretty basic engine though so dice rolls might have to be handled through the combatants rolling their own dices and just have to tell the truth on what they got.
Can anyone provide me the music that they used in the Seize Ground and Annihilation Multiplayer gameplay for Space Marine?
I'm pretty sure the 40k module for Vassal has in-built dice.
I seem to remember you just gave it how many dice and what you needed, and it gave back how many hits / wounds you gave / saved. And the program doesn't remove units or what have you, all it lets you do is move and place units (just 2D sprites) and "roll" dice. Stuff like figuring out wounds and removing units is up to you guys. From what I remember atleast, it's been quite awhile.
Wait isn't the module copyrighted how'd you get to play it?
So it turns out I have a old copy of soulstorm lying around here. Is it worth installing just for the added skirmish maps? I won't be doing the campaign.
I'm sure this is old, but it always makes me laugh that this music actually ended up in the game files.
Sounds like a club remix...

Can anyone reccomend a warhammer game for me? I have all of the new ones. I like the larger scale conflicts.
Can anyone reccomend a warhammer game for me? I have all of the new ones. For 40k there's nothing that really really large scale, DoW 1 is larger scale than 2 (bigger armies).
Can anyone reccomend a warhammer game for me? I have all of the new ones. It's pain in the ass install that shit, but it will be worth it if you manage to get it working.
Man, DoW 3 is going to be frikkin sweet. Also posting to show off my new avatar. [editline]17th August 2011[/editline] Nevermind my avatar hasn't updated.
