Actually, probably not, since the majority of the Population of the Imperium are Hiveworlders, which isn't exactly a nice life.
I think I'm going to hold off on getting Space Marine, until reviews are in and such. Even then, the concept doesn't really interest me. Imperium fights orks but oh no Chaos. Much rather it involve Tyranids or Necrons or even Tau, would be a lot more interesting in my opinion.

Problem,, out of those 3, only the Tau has any form of personality.
I like Warhammer 40k's satirical undertones. I just can't take so much pure unaltered grimdark completely serious.

No, Necrons can now according to Matt ward.
And the Necrons were better off without personalities, compared to being Ward-ed, which says a lot for how terrible he is, he's the Goto of Codexes.
As much as I wanted a 'cron new codex, I think I'll stick with my old one.

Wouldn't he also be unhappy with the whole Xenos hating thing? I thought he was ok with them (E.g Webway in the Throne room or whatever it was)

Just because he wanted to use the Webway doesn't mean he liked them any better. The general position was that anything which was a threat or an obstacle would be destroyed unsympathetically. I doubt he would have taken the same approach they do now of destroying everything xeno though instead trying to pick through the bones and learn from them, if the Adeptus Mechanicus would let them that is.

I'm guessing they carry shovels to dig trenches, seeing what's their inspiration and 'style'
