Problem,, out of those 3, only the Tau has any form of personality.
So? Fighting Tyranids or Necrons in a horror type situation would be great. Or at least have sort of "survive until you die" mode against them. Much more entertaining then orks or Chaos IMO.
Aaaaand...downloading! well, time to go out for a few hours and leave this to download
Does anyone know an easy way to remove paint from plastic/metal (E.g the old half plastic half metal devastators)? I've got a large amount of marines which are either terribly painted, or have so much paint they no longer have a face.
I'll play this for HOURS when it releases. Holy shit I loved the demo.
What I want to know is: What became of that badass flaming sword the Emperor was using during the Horus Heresy? Was it entombed with him or what?
I would imagine its considered a relic. What they've done with it I don't know.
Abbadon keeps it as a dildo
In the cryptic account of the ages of Mankind given by Cripias, one of the Keepers of the Library Sanctus of Terra, the Men of Iron were legendary sentient humanoid machines created by humans during the Dark Age of Technology. Until shortly before the Age of Strife, the Men of Iron were loyal only to Mankind, and served as their army. They came after the Men of Stone, but before the "modern" conception of robots in the Warhammer 40k universe. Eventually, they turned on their Human masters, believing themselves superior to the Humans who relied on the Men of Iron to do virtually everything for them. In the end, the Men of Iron were destroyed by Humanity.
So the Men of Iron did everything for mankind, which made them complacent, until their dependence resulted in the destruction of all their progress (age of strife). SOUNDS ODDLY FAMILIAR. HMMM.
What I want to know is: What became of that badass flaming sword the Emperor was using during the Horus Heresy? Was it entombed with him or what?
What about the rest of the stuff he had...werem't pieces of his armour used in some Marine armour or something?
Good thing I signed up for Honour Guard a long time ago. Downloading the demo now.
What about the rest of the stuff he had...werem't pieces of his armour used in some Marine armour or something?
I assume you're talking about the Crux Terminatus? It's an emblem made out of a portion of the Emperor's power armor, it's only given to Terminators/Terminator sergeants.
What I want to know is: What became of that badass flaming sword the Emperor was using during the Horus Heresy? Was it entombed with him or what?
Unless I'm mistaken the sword wasn't anything remarkable at all. It was only when the Emperor held it that it became something more than a normal sword (it might have been of exquisite build and materials, but nothing more). [editline]22nd August 2011[/editline] Also if an Alpha Plus can snap a Titan in half with ease, what could the Emperor do? I know he obliterated Horus' soul which should by all laws of the universe be completely impossible, but we don't have enough fluff about the Emperor fighting and/or using some of his power.
Just downloaded the Space Marine demo, but everything is black except for a small area in the upper left corner. What do?
downloading it now.
I wish the demo wasn't Steam only for some stupid reason it doesn't want to work on my PC so I'm having to wait for the 360 version to come out tomorrow but I really wanted to see how well it'd work on my computer.

I doubt that elevator could carry a single marine let alone a whole squad.
Why couldn't you play the demo?
It's tied to steam and since it refuses to connect I can't download it on my laptop and copy it over like I would do with other stuff since it'll obviously still refuse to connect and offline mode doesn't want to work either.

And that's when he's just a corpse. I think that's reason enough to say that he was the most powerful being in the universe when he was alive and well.
I'm playing it right now, someone give me a tissue box
what are you insinuating sir i'll have you know that warhammer is 100% original
Sounds like some sort of Fall I remember reading about, is all.
I'm a bit confused, is Steam refusing to connect?
Basically. It oddly works fine on my laptop so hell if I know what's going on.

Played the Space Marine demo, it's great so far. Two small things though: Bolter would sound alot better if it was like the Bolt pistol sounds, and he seems to reload a little too fast (the animation)
The environments are astounishing, I couldn't stoop looking around and looking at the details, it's seriously beautiful [editline]22nd August 2011[/editline] I'm also kind of disappointed that wearing differents weapons make no difference in melee, if you use the 1 handed bolter and chainsword, you can use both, if you wear the 2 handed bolter, when you press the melee button you magically pull out a chainsword, same for the rest of weapons. They could've give it atleast a simple melee or something, to make it matter what weapon are you using at all times.
what are you insinuating sir i'll have you know that warhammer is 100% original
100% originally a Gears of War ripoff :v:
More like a Battlestar Galactica ripoff but who gives a fuck.
More like a Starcraft ripoff!
