Someone should make a comic for grand masters.

Hey guys, i have this box full of spare parts, for example half a Nightbringer, a Daemon Prince missing a few parts, Noise Marine parts, Chaos Space Marine parts, Tyranid parts, Grey Knight parts, and i was wondering.
What could i do with all of these spare parts, apart from using them to make some other unit?
Make a Noise Grey Marine! :v:
i think i'll go with space marines so that me and my mate can team up against my other other friend who has his own dropships and aircraft
he has an army of massive size that my warhammer pushing friend can't match
You can team up no matter what army you go with.
Necron's seem to be the easiest and best starting army, but they still have their advanced tactics/troops.
They lack variety, as some of the cooler units are absolutely useless in the current edition (at least before the new Wardex rolls around, then expect autokills on sixes and spiritual lieges)
You can team up no matter what army you go with.
i'm not sure if the Necron would like teaming up with imperial guard.
Acording to Mat Ward they already did with space marines so there realy isnt any problem.
So I have tried the demo, and I have this weird spazzing black shit, AND MY CHARACTER HAS NO FUCKING SKULL.

No, but you can still do it.
Just annoys me how everyone goes for Space Marines. They're cool, but all the new players choose them.

Could you explain why most new players go for Space Marines?
I started off with Chaos when i was new to tabletop/warhammer 40k.

Maybe it's because of GW marketing which is heavily in favor of marines? New players hardly know of anything else.

Your vidya card seems to be pretty underpowered for your system. Update your drivers, check for overheating

Because of GW marketting they are the army you see the most in official things (E.G white dwarf) They also get the most new models, codexs, are in the most games etc.
And because of the whole thing of them being Super-human who can kill hundreds of the enemy.

But Grand masters can't do vehicles which makes creed infinitely cooler for sneaking in warhound titans. (Plus they can only do that due to Ward's faggotry)
In response to all the people saying they want to learn more about 40k, I recommend just reading the wiki for a bit.
Also, real men play the guard.

Why don't GW market some other race?
Each race is equally cool in their own way, and it's a shame that Space Marines get all the love.

I was always under impression that SW were supposed to be the most "balanced" army, in that they didn't have any overbearing weaknesses or flaws but at the same time in comparison to the others no massive strengths either. I figured they were supposed to be versatile but this might just be all my Dawn of War experience talking.
I don't play Tabletop, but if I did I figure I'd build myself a nice Cadian Regiment.

Because when people think of W40K, they think of Space marines. All the other stuff isn't really 'special' enough. E.g guard are just basic humans, Eldar are Space Elves, Tyranids are just a swarm, Necrons no personality/individually at all etc
There's one guy on my Steam firends list who is playing SM demo, while he didn't preorder it. How?
I was considering getting into the Ciaphas Cain books. Can anyone verify if they're any good or not?

Honour Guard.
Ciaphas cain books are great, i've only read the first three though. Anyone know where i can get the Firewarrior novel? I've always wanted to read it.
I'm also considering getting the Commissar Gaunt books purely because the guy sounds like such a badass.
"I am Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt. I am known as a fair man, unless I am pushed. You have just pushed me."

Is that the Last Chancers? I've got the omnibus i just haven't read them all. I think i read the one about the Tau though.

New 'crons do, though.

Sorry for sounding dumb where can I find the update? Couldn't find it on google.

The series of Gaunt's Ghosts is probably my favorite series I've read.
Ciaphas Cain is also a ridiculously well written character, works really well.
They hold up so much better than some of the latest books BL have brought out where you just don't really care about the characters enough.
Is that the Last Chancers? I've got the omnibus i just haven't read them all. I think i read the one about the Tau though.
Hold up, did you manage to snag a omnibus of the last chancers novels? (the ones with Colonel Schaeffer)

So, Chaos, corrupted Space Marines who worship 4 Chaos gods, a god of plague, a god of knowledge/trickery, a god of blood and a god of pleasure isn't special enough?
And the Tau, who probably have the most advanced weapons in the 41st millenium, which fight for the Greater Good isn't special either?
They really could do with a bit of marketing for every race, even if it could affect their sales in some way.

New necrons?
Continue, if you'd please, as i thought only Necron Immortals and Necron Lords actually had a bit of personality/memory.

Oh, sorry i got that wrong. I've just always assumed that the huge book i've got was an omnibus.
so i went to that store, looked at the stock they had it was all guard stuff and a few space marine stuff
some of the names i jotted down where
razor back
land raider
dreadnought
chimera
those names will mean more to you than me, but they looked pretty cool
and they had a few figures but nightlord was right they where a tad on the expensive side
guess i'll have to wait for my next payday :v:
Razor backs are Spess Mehreen troop transports with big guns on them.
Land Raiders are the kings of the metal bawxes.
Dreadnoughts are walking robot coffins with marines in them.
Chimeras are tiny metal boxes for squishy guardsmen.
