CORRECT MY GOOD SIR! [sp]ehuheuheuhuehueh[/sp]
IG trooper? Krieg?
Correct. A Krieg Elite Grenadier.
Nah man pretty sure that's a Land Raider
CORRECT MY GOOD SIR! [sp]ehuheuheuhuehueh[/sp]
Sorry, i was just joking around. :v: Anyway, i thought it was a pretty good drawing.
Correct. A Krieg Elite Grenadier.
Really? I thought it was just a regular DKoK trooper/DkoK sergeant.
Keep in mind that the Tau aren't as good either. There's rumours of forced sterilisation of client species, viral plagues targeting them and a few other stuff. Likewise they've been incredibly lucky for the time being. - Not a single possessed psyker on any of otheir human client worlds, apparently no geanstealer cults yet either, no enslavers - ought I continue?
Which is all Imperial propoganda.
Nope, the trooper looks like thus:
The tau are potentially the most primitive larger sized species of the galaxy. Well the orks are cruder. Essentially everything they have is technologically miles behind the imperium. The only reason they essentially have chance is due to different design principles. The imperium has incredibly rugged - management less technology that works no matter what, runs on anything, and barely needs any maintenance. Anything else would almost be impossible to maintain. The tau on the other hand, have incredibly maintenance high equipment. Which essentially allows it to perform barely on par with imperial. Just compare crisis suit plasmas, which are more or less the size of an imperial plasma cannon. And a bunch of other stuff.
Crisit Suit plasmas aren't the size of an Imperial Plasma Cannon, and both have different functions. The Imperial version also overheats/explodes in the users face if not used correctly. Where is your evidence that the Tau stuff is high maintenance? Some of their stuff is not fully on-par with some of the Imperiums technology (Older stuff) but they are rapidly advancing to combat new threats. In 2000 years they got to a similar level of tech to the Imperium and are able to combat (in some cases beat) some of the more advanced races. Tau are also going for efficiency. The only reason the Imperium has all the really advanced stuff is because of the Void Dragon, not because they designed it. At the moment the Tau don't have things such as Titans, because they don't NEED Titans.
The Void Dragon thing is just a theory and C'Tan are probably gonna be retconned anyway Also Tau live because they haven't gained the attention of a major faction yet, they're just too damn tiny.
The Void Dragon thing is just a theory and C'Tan are probably gonna be retconned anyway Also Tau live because they haven't gained the attention of a major faction yet, they're just too damn tiny.
I just saw this on Lexicanum, it doesn't have sources though so wasn't sure if it was true or not.
Once the Warp storms began and the Dark Age of Technology ended, the Dragon of Mars sought to claim the red planet by sending out dreams from its imprisonment, teaching the humans there how to build incredibly advanced machines, and in turn, worship those machines. Thus, the Dragon directly created the Mechanicum. This was in fact the Emperor's plan all along: to create a technologically advanced society that would be able to provide the industrial machinery for his Great Crusade.
As for the Tau, they haven't gained the full attention of any of the factions yet but they have encountered them.
As for the Tau, they haven't gained the full attention of any of the factions yet but they have encountered them.
So reading from that quote, the Emperor did it rather than the Dragon. Even so take Lex with a pinch of salt, its known for neckbeards to 'add in' their own fluff for whatever reasons.
Basically unless they find a way to fix the Golden throne, the Emperor will die at some point and shit will really hit the fan. Right?
Remember THE EMPRAH was going to die anyway and that hooking him into the Golden Throne is actually delaying the inevitable. Yes, he's slowly dying, but it's a lot better than him just dying anyway. Well, better for everyone except all those Psykers that get sacrificed. :v:
People already found a way to make custom skins: http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?262044-Space-Marine-Custom-Titus-Skins-Bearded-Titus!! [thumb]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/595820718084757146/05EF05BBB173386B33038BE40DB67D3D58DE1D65/[/thumb]
So I've never played a dawn of war game and I would like to get into the series. Is Dawn of War 1 the best to start off with or Dawn of War 2?
So I've never played a dawn of war game and I would like to get into the series. Is Dawn of War 1 the best to start off with or Dawn of War 2?
It depends. Dawn of War 1 is a semi-large scale RTS with base building and massive battles. Dawn of war 2 is a small scale RTS which focuses on being tactical and more strategical rather than being a RTS about taking time to build a base, taking time to make a lot of units. [editline]23rd August 2011[/editline] If i were you, i'd get both, as i think both games are great, despite how different apart from eachother they are.
Danke, Hoboharry, for finding the avatar. Shit is snazzy as fuck. Well, if it would show up. Check my profile page to see what it looks like.
After reading up about Spess Mahreens and just how much shit they have to go through in order to get where they are... certainly makes me feel a lot worse about all those Tactical squads I purposefully sacrificed in the Dawn of War games.
At the moment the Tau don't have things such as Titans, because they don't NEED Titans.
Technically, the Tau do have a Titan equivalent: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/TAU-MANTA.html
Technically, the Tau do have a Titan equivalent: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/TAU-MANTA.html
Yes, but it is not exactly a Titan it's a bomber/support unit.
God damn finally managed to fix spacemarine to run. Had the dreaded blackoverlay syndrome moments ago.
Basically unless they find a way to fix the Golden throne, the Emperor will die at some point and shit will really hit the fan. Right?
Depends. There are a few theories/prophecies: - Emperor dies and is reborn as the Starchild, destroys all warp gods and someone (read the Imperium) takes over the physical galaxy. - The Sensei are gathered up and sacrificed to the Emperor and he is revived/reborn, we get a physical Emperor that goes back to kicking ass (I really hope that if something happens, it's this). - Emperor just dies, the Imperium falls, the galaxy is ripped apart by the warp, everything gets fucked up to the extreme and probably some other bad things due to the death of such a powerful entity (the psychic effect of the fall of the Eldar created Slaanesh and the Eye of Terror, so the effects depend on the Emperor's real power, which we never got to see, and even if it doesn't he is holding the warp under the Golden Throne at bay, so when he dies that opens either way).
How long until we get a Commander Fuklaw skin?
It's COMMISSAR Holt! *BLAM*

However, where slannesh was created by the Eldars excessively decadent society, the death of the emperor will create a being capable of opposing the Gods of Chaos, essentially a real God-Emperor. Nothing will change.
Out of print books REALLY annoy me. If they are 10 years old or so i can understand, but when they are part of series or one of a kind books (E.g Xenology) it's stupid.
Also, the Warhammer Men of War mod seems to be picking up steam, quite a bit of models and progress on it's moddb page http://www.moddb.com/mods/men-of-warhammer Can't wait to fire that Executioner against a Sherman and mow down a Russian charge with the Punisher (I really hope he leaves in the normal nations too and doesn't replace them all, 1vs5 Imperium vs Germany, USSR, USA, UK and Japan oh yeah).
