The 2 handed power weapon is also the Blood Maul or whatever it's called, the Raptor can use it.
I want an autocannon. :frown:
Also, am I the only one who feels like the Stalker bolter is much closer to an actual bolter, in terms of power, rate of fire, and magazine size? The regular bolter in Space Marine honestly feels weak, like an autogun or something.

I like the idea that high ranking space marines have a little entourage of servitors cleaning him and carrying his crap.
I want to play a game where I play as a lone Imperial Guardsman.
See how long you can go without dying. :v:
Then you see a space marine and get shot becuase you didn't call him lord.

Or you get shot because you looked scared in front of the Commissar.
The comments are worse then Matt Wards logic.

Autocannons are actually in the game. They are mountable turrets, but you can rip them off their stands and carry them.

Yeah, i mean, really, they've already started a console/PC flame war.
Apparently, they can't watch a video showing the graphics for a demo for PC, PS3, Xbox 360 without causing a console/pc flame war.

Basic training, four months. Planetary transportation, seven weeks. Life expectancy,

And that's a guardsman with backup, a lone guardsman?
15 seconds.
Tops.
Technically that 15 hours only applies to a New Fish on Broucheroc.
Hey there! So, I was wondering if any of you guys can recomend me a place to start if I want to get into the world of Warhammer 40k. Like, a novel or something. I have always wanted to learn more about the 40k universe, but never knew where to start.
When I first found the lexicanum god knows how long I spent reading about chaos.

You know the Call Of Duty games? The enemies are imperial guards.
Technically that 15 hours only applies to a New Fish on Broucheroc.
Most other regiments it's four months basic training, seven weeks transportation, thirteen years of sitting in a trench waiting for the enemy assault to reach your end of the continent/planet/system/segmentum, THEN 15 hour life expectancy.
I read a bit about the Dark Eldar and why they don't use psyker abilities and how it could affect them greatly.
Couldn't an Eldar or such disguise itself as a Dark Eldar Kabalite or something, go to Commorragh and use psyker abilities and kill off most of the Dark Eldar?
Or is Commorragh only accessible to Dark Eldar/hidden to the eyes of craftworld Eldar?
You don't even play a real Guardsman. You play as a Guardsman conscript.
Warhammer 40K: Guardsman
"ultimate meat shield" edition
i got given a load of nids by a friend today who hasn't touched them in years, 14 termagaunts 8 hormaguants 3 (metal! wow!) raveners 2 gargoyles a squad of genestealers a broodlord and a lictor and some sporemines and what ever the defense turret from DoW II for nids is called.
I've finally got a sizable army now, all i want is a hive tyrant and a Carnifex and I'm sorted

i'd love for a mod to replace titus in space marine to IG, would make the game even harder.

"Here's your cardboard suit and your laser-pointer. Have fun. For the Emperor."
But how would I pretend I'm an Angry Marine and scream obscenities while slashing through Warbands of Orks? I mean sure, there is the Angry Marine texmod already out so you could make one for IG but come on. Angry Guard? Nah. Plus, the lasers don't have a "Maximum Fuck" setting.
But really, it would be fun. I tend to prefer the Imperial Guard anyway.
Lasguns should have a "Burn-The-Eye-Of-Terror's Corneas" level.

That wouldn't be grimdark enough.
Where exactly does he smile in it? (put it in Spoiler Tags)
Malleus, page 439 in the omnibus, 168 pages from the first page, with the authority code and clearance stuff. It's in chapter 18, 4 pages in. The line is " I smiled 'I knew there was a reason I kept you around' "
The line is " I smiled 'I knew there was a reason I kept you around' "
He might have thought he smiled. It's possible it was a scowl that killed a random Psyker in 50 mile radius.
For some people asking how to get into the lore, heres what I did to get into it (about two months ago.)
I would recommend first to just keep following this thread. You pick up on things rather quickly.
Second, read a Warhammer book series. I read Gaunt's Ghosts; a series I would highly recommend. (I have so much fething respect for Imperial Guardsmen now.)
Third, browse the wiki. If there's a term or a person talked out in either the thread or the book that you're confused about, look it up. Usually that starts a wiki reading spree and by the time its over, you come out much more knowledgeable.

It's extremely well hidden within the depths of the webway and there's a rigorous 'screening process' to detect Psykers. It's hidden at magic o'clock.

Thunderhammer IS a Power weapon 2 handed. I called it that way cause the chaos players get a Blood Maul, Power weapon is either the power axe for the space marine or the power sword for the chaos.
Maybe I forgot the Plasma Pistol then...
I'm not sure if the Vengeance Launcher will ever be on the game.
