Thunderhammer IS a Power weapon 2 handed. I called it that way cause the chaos players get a Blood Maul, Power weapon is either the power axe for the space marine or the power sword for the chaos.
Maybe I forgot the Plasma Pistol then...
I'm not sure if the Vengeance Launcher will ever be on the game.
Oh I'm pretty sure I have seen a power sword for the Space Marines, maybe I was wrong. The Vengeance Launcher will be there though, definitely.
Malleus, page 439 in the omnibus, 168 pages from the first page, with the authority code and clearance stuff. It's in chapter 18, 4 pages in. The line is " I smiled 'I knew there was a reason I kept you around' "
Might have meant it emotionally, as in another part, he said something along the lines of "I'm glad they can't see me smiling now"
Should I preorder?
"Here's your cardboard suit and your laser-pointer. Have fun. For the Emperor."
But how would I pretend I'm an Angry Marine and scream obscenities while slashing through Warbands of Orks? I mean sure, there is the Angry Marine texmod already out so you could make one for IG but come on. Angry Guard? Nah. Plus, the lasers don't have a "Maximum Fuck" setting.
But really, it would be fun. I tend to prefer the Imperial Guard anyway.
The Frustrated Marines.
"Ooh those xenos are really starting to rustle my jimmies."
Should I preorder?
You should, if you want to.
Close to everyone who posts here thinks Space Marine is going to be fucking awesome, i would recommend pre-ordering it.

Oh, thanks for the information.
I suppose the Dark Eldar are going to be around for a very long time?
Unless the tyranids/C'tan devour everything, then there won't be any souls to sustain the Dark Eldar being leeched by Slaanesh.
Can someone post that steam link to the demo again?

He said that during a questioning in Hereticus, while he is representing the Lord Inquisitor in court, I've forgotten the reason, I think he simply found something amusing. There are, in fact, a few times that he mentions he isn't smiling/showing facial expression, such as the time he spent on Cadia during the interrogations, and I remember, during the first book I believe, a time that he's glad his companions couldn't see him smiling for some reason during a conversation.
I think it was a simple lapse of concentration on Abnett's part, there are a lot of mistakes in the book after all. I can't help feeling that the book itself is quite rushed, I know he had a deadline for the book (to be released in conjunction with an inquisitor game or some such), but I thought that only applied to the first book, and most of the mistakes were in the later books.

I'm under a lot of pressure here. I'm uncertain about my DIY army color scheme, and I don't know if I should pre-order Space Marine for PC or Xbox.

1. Unless you are painting it neon-pink, I don't see the problem. Also, yellow is hard to paint.
2. Do it. The demo was the best I've ever played (oddly enough) and free DLC.
As for PC or Xbox, PC=Mods | Xbox=Larger Base
Though the PC community will last longer, the Xbox one will be larger at first...
Go for PC.
What are you talking about? The majority of 40k fans are on PC.
[editline]25th August 2011[/editline]
Really. What do you think when you think of 40k? Dawn of war and novels.

The beauty of TT is that you can paint it what ever you like, if you have your own scheme people can't compare it to what it should look like, and it'll really make your army your own. I would recommend perhaps making your color scheme in DoW II if possible, allowing for race and owning the game, to get a general idea what it might look like as most of the main colors are named as the paints are.

space marine is just awesome...i found the nobs to be a pain in the ass though i'll have to have another play through and try the aoe stun on them.
The only thing keeping me from getting this is my dad. He buys the games for me, and he'll probably let me buy one game till next year, and I can't choose between this and Skyrim

This is the warhammer thread.
The next game is next month
What do you think I might be hinting at?

Well, I use a dark green color scheme, but I wanted a more blueish green. Unfortunately, I was forced to buy paint from another company. At one time, GW produced the same color, but they decided to discontinue it. It doesn't retain the smoothness of the GW paints and I have a limited supply of it, meaning that I'd have a hard time painting my rhinos and vindicators. I also have a jade green style paint that I wish to use for highlighting, but it is extremely thick, and I have a hard time watering it down.
I tried using Dark Angels green as a base, but I absolutely hate the color.
Nobs are fairly easy to beat in Space Marine if you manage to draw them away from larger mobs. You can usually outrun them and fire backwards with your bolter, or you can strike them up close and hit them with stun attacks to disrupt their attacks.
So, here is what I am thinking. Since Orks never stop growing, and Gretchin are Orkoid, is there a chance that a Gretchin may live long enough to grow big enough to not be booted around in Ork society?

When Gretchin grow big enough they stuff them in Killa Kans.

I love on Retribution's campaing when you go to Typhon after it get fucked up and they are weeping over their lost tomb or whatever it was and you simply just go sweeping the floor covered with the blood of their ancients using their own bodies. Even on the hardest of difficulties, this mission was by far the easiest.
There is no greater joy than to kill eldars.

That key mapping feel a little weird to me at first.
I may have to change them up a bit before i play the game again! :v:
Remember to bind a key to 'Soil underpants in fear'.
I'm not incredibly familiar with the lore of W40K, but why do the orcs use English slang and use Steam punk like technology if they evolved completely separate from humans?
I realize I'm probably late and the rest of you already know this, but did you guys know you can get the power axe in the demo?
