Question. I heard about this one guy, who I may or may not be imagining. Apparently, his combat prowess against the Orks was so great that, upon death, there was a chance he would be instantly revived, because the Orks could not believe they actually killed him, and what Orks believe happens blah blah blah power of the Waaagh! etc etc. Anyone know his name? Or if he's even a thing?
That's Yarrick you're thinking of. He's able to revive himself in game due to his intense willpower and bravery. I fought against him one game. Filled him with enough bolter rounds to kill a small army, yet he kept coming. Thankfully he died before he even reached my lines with his claw.
I like how people think that GKs outcreed Creed, even though they can't use their power with vehicles.
Thanks. Someone was lying to me...
I don't think they were. It's possible, and he is able to revive himself.
What would had happened if he reached your lines alive with his claw? Oh, and it's a Power Klaw, it's orkish, so since they believe that this man's klaw is nigh-undefeatable, it is.
What would had happened if he reached your lines alive with his claw? Is his claw that devastating?
He;d tell the Orks to get off his lawn, he is, afterall, an old man.
Thanks. Someone was lying to me...
Yarrick also has a lazer eye. For the orks that is, i think
Just tried the demo... Interesting, very interesting. Shame it's banned from UK Steam!

Can easily cycle there and buy some stuff.
Just tried the demo... Interesting, very interesting. Shame it's banned from UK Steam!
What why?
Why have I never heard of the vengeance launcher? Is it a new weapon made for Space Marine?
It seems so, the only other thing I found related was:
The Whirlwind Rhino variant and the Helios Land Raider Variant Space Marine Tanks both mount a Whirlwind Multiple Missile Launcher. It consists of a large bank of either Vengeance or Castellan Missiles.
From http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Missile_launcher#Missile_Launcher But that's a missile.
They said it was created for the games, since they felt they needed some sort of granade launcher of some sort.
It was also noted that the Vengeance Launcher was made by the Adeptus Mechanicus. Though, that could be non-fluff.
Why have I never heard of the vengeance launcher? Is it a new weapon made for Space Marine?
It was created for the game, but they've made it an Adeptus Mechanicus weapon, and there are hardly any Adeptus Mechanicus TT things.
I always thought the Adeptus Mechanicus was jsut part of the Imperium, but apparently, while reading something on the Imperial Aquila the Imperium and the Adeptus Mechanicus dont have much related beside it's obvious alliance. Probably I'm wrong but, well...
One of my friends says that Warhammer Fantasy is a planet in the 40k universe but is surrounded by some kind of weird storm stopping 40k armies entering and screwing up how time in that area but somehow Necrons can land on the planet. Is my mate talking bullshit or not?
He is, I think. Warhammer just takes place around the year 0 in their universe. Warhammer 40k takes place around the year 40000

Is my mate talking bullshit or not?
Probably talking bullshit.
He is, I think. Warhammer just takes place around the year 0 in their universe. Warhammer 40k takes place around the year 40000
Now THAT is bullshit, why would all the races be on one planet?
One of my friends says that Warhammer Fantasy is a planet in the 40k universe but is surrounded by some kind of weird storm stopping 40k armies entering and screwing up how time in that area but somehow Necrons can land on the planet. Is my mate talking bullshit or not?
It's a theory that the warhammer fantasy world is in the 40k universe and it's technically possibly, and it's also a theory that the warhammer 40k universe is in a glass vial inside a mages tower in the fantasy universe. In short, it's not worth talking about.

Is my mate talking bullshit or not?
It is possible that Fantasy is just a Planet in W40K or is in the eye of terror or something, that was a fairly common theory as some of the races are the same (Orks, Old ones, Chaos) The Necron part is definatly not true though, unless i've missed something.

Yeah he said that the Necrons were at war with the Lizardmen or something along those lines.
There was this old rule in regular WH where you could mutate and have a laspistol or something sticking out somewheres, it was removed though.
Recorded some Space Marine demo footage, sorry about the mic noise:
Yeah he said that the Necrons were at war with the Lizardmen or something along those lines.
Your mate was clearly high as a kite.

Hell there's actually older fluff that still ties it together (retracted though) a mutation for chosen of chaos in lost and damned was a lascannon for instance. Also a number of aspects of Fantasy Khaine were clearly pointing at the C'tan.
