Meaning I can hardly talk to people IRL
Shame, no vehicles in spacemarines. Not needed, but would be pretty fucking fun to use those mechs etc.
You mean the mechs (Dreads) that you are only interred in when you are mortally wounded and you're imprisoned there for the rest of your existance? [editline]29th August 2011[/editline]
Meaning I can hardly talk to people IRL
Thats pretty much your usual GW crowd.

Sit in Rhino Wait Get Out Vehicle Section Done
It'd be pretty cool to fight in a Contemptor, since they're basically just giant terminator suits.
It'd be pretty cool to fight in a Contemptor, since they're basically just giant terminator suits.
Exept it's a Dreadnought.
I remember reading a theory that the Outsider C'tan is behind the Tyranid invasion. Could explain why the Necrons and Tyranids have fought a total of one time.
The other ones. Or those rhino tanks.
:v: But seriously, if you mean tanks, you probably think predators. And since space marines are not exactly vehicle-centric (unlike, let's say, IG), we won't lose much.
Exept it's a Dreadnought.
It's a dreadnought termninator! [editline]29th August 2011[/editline]
I remember reading a theory that the Outsider C'tan is behind the Tyranid invasion. Could explain why the Necrons and Tyranids have fought a total of one time.
Necrons and Tyranids rarely fight as Tyranids avoid tomb worlds, as many of them are dead, and others probably emit anti-warp fields etc. Necrons don't want to fight Tyranids either, as Tyranids have no souls (except for the Hivemind) so fighting them has no real point.
It's a dreadnought termninator!
Nope, just a Heresy era Dreadnought.
Nope, just a Heresy era Dreadnought.
I know, I know. It's a joke. I just mean that its looks are reminiscent from terminator armor.
I read some Lexicanum articles concering some of the Space Marine chapters - i like how most of them are specialised in something. Do other races have similar specialized factions? I know some Ork clans do, but what about, let's say, Eldar?
Chaos, although That sort of falls in with space marines. Imperial Guard, too.
IG is a PAIN to navigate in Lexicanum. I mean, there are all these numbered armies and i have no idea which have enough story backing to be worth reading and which are just simple entries "well there are these guys and that's that"
Eldar pretty much are entirely specialized. :v:
Specialised at hiding and crying in a corner.
Eldar pretty much are entirely specialized. :v:
He's talking about if some certain Craftworld specialized in something. But yes, seeing as Eldar, no matter what Craftworld, have different aspects and such, they are pretty much entirely specialized.
You know what should be cool? Add a mode that would work like the TF2 Arena: no respawn last team alive wins. But instead of spawning in the same place, the map is like, a gigantic field full of buildings to climb/jumppack into and your spawning is randomly picked by the computer, and you spawn from a droppod, with the prematch being an scene of it deepstriking, just like in Section 8. THAT would be sweet.
I have concluded that drawing 40k stuff is fun as SHIT. [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/kultofspeed.jpg[/t]
Specialised at hiding and crying in a corner.
You tell nothing but lies! All the eldars I've encountered so far are master in jumping in front our weapons, and by the amount of eldar that fell by my hammer, I must admit they are the best in it.
I have concluded that drawing 40k stuff is fun as SHIT. [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/kultofspeed.jpg[/t]
Drawing Orks is the best, because you can't go wrong.
Drawing Orks is the best, because you can't go wrong.
Indeed. You don't have to keep straight lines, you can be as ridiculous as you want, and sense goes down the drain.
It'd be pretty cool to fight in a Contemptor, since they're basically just giant terminator suits.
Searched up that to see what they look like, got this on Forge World: That looks awesome and all, but it also costs $50. Unless that's like a foot tall there's no way that's worth it. Forgot how expensive WH40k models are... [editline]29th August 2011[/editline] And the actual model doesn't even come with arms.
I think its the Blood Axes orks. (Probably wrong) But I read they arn't liked by the other ork clans becuase they use un-orky tactics like stealth and tactical retreats.
Forge World is always expensive.
Forge World: Making Gamesworkshop look middle class by comparison
Right after a few messes, some final liberation gameplay (with music). once I sort the codec to be a lossless one I should be alright but right now. Jesus. But still love the shit out of this game, crushing orks with sound tactics and thunderhawk insertions. Plan is to have a proper sound version, with decent codec, Let's Play style full campaign.
I think its the Blood Axes orks. (Probably wrong) But I read they arn't liked by the other ork clans becuase they use un-orky tactics like stealth and tactical retreats.
I can imagine they're more successful than the other clans though. Going behind enemy lines and silently killing troops and disrupting enemies is much more effective than charging at a heavy bolter with a piece of scrap metal and a big pistol.
Yeah but orks is made for stompin and choppin not sneakin like grots
