So I am thinking about snagging the Deathwatch set of TRPG books. Mostly because I have been wanting to play a Warhammer 40k TRPG for a while.
I'm sure the Blood Magpies will exchange the spoils of war with the Ultramarines in an undocumented ceremony.

As much as I want to play Chaos, I want to play as an Assault Marine. Perhaps after giving Deathwatch a go, I will try out Black Crusade.
My town just got power back since we lost it Sunday. Fortunately, the lack of power inspired my friends and I to hold hours of painting and modeling sessions.
One of my friends helped me assemble some of my tanks. He built two Vindicators and a Rhino for me while I fumbled with half a Rhino.

I remember reading some graphics novels years and years and years ago. Not sure if any comics or graphics novels are still going.
Dan Abnett writes comics and Gaunt's Ghosts. He should probably do more W40K comics.

I'm going to paint them tomorrow. I'll post any results.
We made tons of really badass conversions. One of my friends made a model of Friar Tuck with armored akimbo grenade launchers, and my other friend made a squad of really intense kroot conversions. He gave one an imperial guard helmet with a modified lasgun, and another one with fire warrior pants with kroot feet.
I'm also converting a techmarine/master of the forge out of spare parts from tanks and infantry bits. He has a red hood and a silver helmet so far, and I'm debating on painting his chest with the chapter colors or the red/silver mechanicus scheme.

Tough choice. Chapter colors might be more fitting, but since he already has the Red hood and Silver helmet, I think the Mechanicus theme would work better.

The actual plot of the game is Orks, Chaos, and SMs trying to get Blood Ravens from stealing every piece of equipment off the planet.
Its funny how in Dark Crusade the Blood Ravens were going apeshit at the idea of xenos/heretics/whatever taking their relics when in actuality their relics were all from different chapters.

Yeah kinda an easy statement to make when you're a genetically modified post human in fancy armour rather than a regular joe wearing cardboard armour.

It's a resolution issue, the game starts at some fucking stupid 13xx res. Check if there's any .ini files or anything you can change.

I would've thought it'd be the Black Legion since there could be this whole "Yeah we get to kill Horus' legion" thing but I'm sure the Ultramarines would hate Emperors Children since Fulgrim shanked Guilliman.

Colour scheme on the Chaos Smurf in that video isn't right - It's definitely the Black Legion. Again.
Which as I say, might suggest why the Blood Ravens are there.
