So when will the next big story update happen i.e as in whether the Emperor dies and turns into a starchild or whatever the rumors are. The 6th edition rule book or something?
More like when is the next 40k global campaign.
They stopped doing fluff changing game campaigns, iirc.
They stopped doing fluff changing game campaigns, iirc.
Did they say that? I know everything is at a standstill but I didn't know it was official.
Sex itself isn't sex fantasy shit. Sex is a useful story tool, I mean the hookers in Full Metal Jacket weren't fanservice. They served a purpose in the story. It's when the sex is inserted for no reason and when it confuses the story that it falls into nerd sex fantasy territory.
As long as it's not made big deal of, I don't see the problem. Obviously if it becomes an awkwardly described sex scene then yeah it gets stupid (fine hint at what happened or say it outright, but I really don't need all the details like how that prehensile tail might be used).
I think so, because, iirc what changed in the fluff (i.e what GW wanted/was willing to change) pretty much didn't happen, iirc chaos won, but they changed it to they won on the planet but got owned in space, thus Imperial win [editline]3rd September 2011[/editline]
As long as it's not made big deal of, I don't see the problem. It was only after some time that I realised she was leaning back on the mechadendrite, using it as a makeshift seat, something I was to discover over the course of our association that she habitually did. It connected at the base of her spine, like a prehensile tail, so was ideally suited to the purpose." and from Amberly's notes "How Cain discovered this we can only speculate; perhaps it came up in the course of a casual conversation. Or not." Pretty much implied yeah.

Soon I shall begin work on a comedic space marine army, just for the modelling opportunities. Think of those angry marine models you sometimes see, but using a legit codex. Also, I'm putting forward the following theory: Jurgan Didn't die. He got dreadnoughted. To that end, are there any images of him for reference?

am i the only one who thinks love can bloom is stupid like i don't mean the keep harping on the whole sex thing but since when would a vindicare assassin choose to not shoot a helpless target aren't they trained to get boners at the idea of a helpless target in their sights or something
Other Techpriest yes, though as I said, I think she got booted out early on. .
If were talking about Felicia I believe she actually went on to go full on Mechanicum and became leader of a base on that planet. Gotta check my Ciaphis Cain book though.
Yeah she did, which is why I said in an earlier post that her augmetic situation changed.

Part of his repulsiveness is because of the Aura his blankness gives him, it gives regular people the creeps.
Thou shalt not point and laugh saying 'look somebody missed the toilet when battling snotlings.
Thou shalt not point and laugh saying 'look somebody missed the toilet when battling snotlings.
BUT: Thou Shalt ALWAYS kill.
Really looking forward to Dark Millennium. Too bad it comes out in 2013... so far off.

Otacon asks Snake if love can bloom on the battlefield because he loved Sniper Wolf.
amen to that bro, regarding humans being able to use space marine bolt pistols, i'll dig out this fantastic bit from the purging of kaldiluss, an imperial guardsman (Kaun) is whispering to fellow guardsmen about running away from the battle and is complaining about how space marines have all the awesome stuff "It's alright for them" said Kaun, voice growing with annoyance, still looking at the distant silhouette of the giant Astartes sergeant "Tell you what, give me armor like that and I'd be just as brave, and what about those bolters? put a hole in an orc the size of your gobs" -the space marine with his ridiculous hearing promptly walks over...- The space marine leans forwards and plucks Kaun's lasgun from his weak grip, inspecting its condition before handing it back. "Your weapons are inferior because better would be wasted on you, said the sergeant. "It takes as much effort to create a single round for my bolt pistol as it does a whole lasgun. Would you entrust that one shot to such a poor marksman?" He bent forwards armor creaking, mouth grille a short distance away from Kaun's face. "My armor is many thousands of years old, before the Dark Angels even came to this world. "Would you have it dishonoured by a wearer that flees from battle?" "That's a bit harsh" mumbled Kaun "We're doing the best we can." "Are you?" the space marine snarled "Which of you would leave this world, travel across the galaxy and lay down his life for the home of a family he has never met?" The guardsmen exchange glances, nobody says a word. "Which of you would place yourself directly in danger, to save the lives of others? and do this not just on a spur of heroism, unthinking, but for a whole life time, time after time, in full knowledge that one day, you will die, and it will be a painful bloody death. Which of you would not only do this thing, but embrace the sacrifice of the self that it entails, not just the dedication of one's death to the Emperor, but one's whole exsistance?" the space marine's voice softens. "You can not answer these questions, and thus, you can not know what it is to be Astartes." and with that said, the space marine walks off into the night.
Then the space marine shot off a few bolter rounds and missed every one. He was then shortly after run over by a metal box. And all you need to know about Cain is that he's clearly the most laid commissar in the galaxy.

Yeah, and from what I can gather he just walks off with that guy's lasgun. Now he's DEFINETELY not going to place himself directly in danger, you took his fucking gun!
Because 4chan Chaos players claimed Chaos win votes they didn't have for officially sanctioned games they never played, which is why we no longer have fluff campaigns.
If I remember correctly, the order players were all seriously abysmal in cooperation with the exception of the eldar who did their own thing and were relatively successful. Chaos was quite organised though on the other hand. Even with that all acounted for the imperials essentially lost nothing fluffwise, chaos the usual and some of the biggest issues were suffered by eldar. Though admittedly they did recover altansar and a crone world. GW was just being a dick at the end of the day.

And they die often fighting the same enemies as the Space Marines. Space Marines have their heads up their own asses.
I have to say, that Space Marine Sergeant is being a bit of an asshole.
Well it carries on a bit and the sergeant becomes this morale boosting figure, he later hands Kaun his own bolt pistol with 5 rounds in it (leaving himself with just a powerfist) and gives him the opportunity to redeem himself from this encounter, Kaun manages to kill two orcs with 3 rounds before he dislocates his shoulder and he can't fire it anymore.
Yeah, and from what I can gather he just walks off with that guy's lasgun. Now he's DEFINETELY not going to place himself directly in danger, you took his fucking gun!
My apologies, he does hand it back, i just abridged the section that he did that in i'll change that now.
Last I checked IG regiments travel across the galaxy to fight on strange worlds. And they die often fighting the same enemies as the Space Marines.
Chaos was quite organised though on the other hand.
I feel like there is so many things wrong with that sentence.
