Making the DoW2 intro into a full movie would be great.
Why the intro?
Ultramarines wasn't that bad. The only things I disliked were the story being a bit weak, and the Chaos Marines being used like redshirts. And some of the characters were a bit iffy. But I still enjoyed it.
That movie was so terrible that Tzeentch could find a way to use that against the Imperium.
Relic should be the only guys that are allowed to make any sort of Official CGI for W40K.
Blur did the best job for relic (and others) by far.

Are you guys against the idea of having a life action movie?
A live action movie would be incredibly hard to pull off, unless it was just something simple like Guardsmen vs Traitor Guardsmen.
I would love a documentary style live action/heavy cgi movie based on 40k.
Kinda like District 9.
Space Hulk movie. Limited number of Marines = proper exposition and character utilization versus screen time, and proper use of models and limited CG for Stealers = tight control and ample use of awesome where it's needed.
I'd imagine Space Hulk being a bit like Ridley Scott's Alien.

Looked in the gallery.
Holy fuck, he could sell the movie when it releases, I'd fucking pay for it.
Also Relic didn't make the DoW II intro, Plastic Wax did. They're the ones make The Old Republic CGI trailers too (imo the only good thing that has come from that game)

Also funny that you all bashed the CGI more than the horrible story / fluff breaking
Can a Defiler be looted?
I know that a Defiler is just a daemonically possessed vehicle, but couldn't a weirdboy just banish the daemon within the defiler?

Except weirdboys don't have proper understandings of the daemons, so they probably won't even know if it's possessed by a daemon. It can be looted in the sense that lootas can take it's parts, then maybe a mek can reassemble it or something.

Why would you want to banish it?
Would only make it less Dedd Killy.

Anything can be looted by Orks, anything, the more they want it loted, the easier it is to do so.
Why would you want to banish it?

Because the Daemon inside the machine would most likely use the Defiler to slaughter the Orks that try to loot it?

Anything?
Even a looted Basilisk?

Oh.
I thought that seeing they have fairly strong ties to the warp that they would be able to do something to the daemon inside the Defiler
I thought that seeing they have fairly strong ties to the warp that they would be able to do something to the daemon inside the Defiler
Strong ties =/= Strong understanding.
They're orks, what did you expect.
Grey Knights look fucking awesome. It's a shame their models cost so much.
I see a problem with that.
People who don't know what 40k is would just assume its another generic killer alien movie.
Unless you want to make a movie with around 10 hours that would explain the basics of the 40k universe
Well it carries on a bit and the sergeant becomes this morale boosting figure, he later hands Kaun his own bolt pistol with 5 rounds in it (leaving himself with just a powerfist) and gives him the opportunity to redeem himself from this encounter, Kaun manages to kill two orcs with 3 rounds before he dislocates his shoulder and he can't fire it anymore.
on a random note, How do you pronounce Tzeentch? "seench"?
I don't understand.
So a Space Marine Sergeant who just said you were a worthless piece of shit can suddenly become a morale-boosting figure?
Also, basically the T in Tzeentch is silent so it's pronounced 'zeench'.

Shame Matt Ward happened. He killed their awesomeness for me.
I want my metal GKTs back :saddowns:

I knew that Orks could loot Carnifexes, but when i think about it, how would it be possible to loot a living organism?
Because it's orks and because they want to.
Logic need not apply with Orks

orc logic™
Heck, I'd try to make a looted trygon any day, if it wasn't for my wallet.
I'm starting to realize that Orks are like a question with no answer.

I still have parts of a metal Grey Knight.
Why aren't the Grey Knight Terminators metal any more?
They have the intention of looting it and keeping it for themselves so when they try to capture it they can chop it and shoot it all they want because it won't die because they want it. Then the Mad Dok gives "speshul medicine" to put it under their control. The medicine would only work on a feral creature though.
Feral creature you say?
Does that mean that the Orks could actually loot Old One Eye?
Orks are an answer with no question.
