HOW CAN YOU MAKE EVERYTHING WRONG
The crunch, the fluff, the feel, the design, the setting, everything. Every single individual factor is wrong.
How the fuck is this even possible? WHO IN THE NAME OF FUCK, ESPECIALLY IN THIS DAY AND AGE, CAN GET FUCKING ZOMBIES WRONG
They're everywhere! There are fucking zombie comics, zombie TV shows, zombie video games, zombie conventions, zombie novelty drinks, zombie cookware, if you look underneath your sofa there is a 98.7% chance of there being zombie related items there. And they fucked it up. What esoteric and ungodly spawn of the dark side of the soul, dredged up from the black abyss of lucifer's pit could do something this wrong?
Okay. I'm done. That's that. I'm killing myself. There is no hope.
[editline]5th September 2011[/editline]
And one more thing, CRYPTEKS? What the fuck? Since when did the mechanical counterparts of the time blighted egyptians talk in fucking Orkish?
Since Eldar proved shitty at wiping out pan-galactic threats. Cue Orks.
[editline]5th September 2011[/editline]
The fuck?
Also, no more Pariahs. What the FUCK did they do to the Necrons.
If they even try to touch the Tyranids I will murder someone.
Nids will be last this go round, but it's going to happen.
Why does Matt Ward hate WH40k?
i mean why not fuck it
next edition, tyranids get troop transports
just big ole fexxy things that function as vehicles and carry nids around, cause why the fuck not
I thought they had one of those anyway (in fluff)
I thought they had one of those anyway (in fluff)
There are Tervigons, which run out into the middle of battle and give birth.
Not really a transport since it's more of a one way ride.

No, a Malefactor.

I've got some mixed feelings about the new Necron codex. The fluff seems to be terribad but the rules changes and new units are a pretty welcome change.
matt ward reveals that the name "warhammer 40k" was a misprint, and the actual canon name is "brighthammer of the future"
imperial guard now resemble the american fighting forces, going out into the galaxy spreading liberty and justice
orks are merry fellows who live for song and festivity, and detest violence
they live in ork holes under garden tilled earth, with great round green doors with knobs in the middle
they often gather together and sing merry tunes and dance the night away, and often shy away from "the little folk" as they call us
They really need to define the ginormous tyranid units better. IIRC there's nothing about Hierophants or those gigantic Trygons in the codex.
because the only thing Chaos can agree on is RAWR.
Well, since we are posting awesome models:

Forgot where I found this, but by the Emperor. Its amazing.
Holy shit.
Is that supposed to be some kind of Titan cannon?
Also, if you did make it, damn good job bro.

Rhinos?
What do you mean?
Why does Matt Ward hate WH40k?
He doesn't hate WH40K, he loves it, as Eonart stated.
Though, he's a horrible writer, in my opinion, and the Gehenna Blood angels x necrons story is just one of his atrocities.
Here is another example.
Wow holy shit, I'm going to go ahead and agree with my friend here and just leave 40k and forget about it. It's not going to be 40k any more by the time Matt "Heresy" Ward is done with it.

How about you just ignore his work, it's not like it's being implemented into the lore.
He LOVES WH40k. It's just that he has enough power to bend everything to his preferences now, which are pretty stupid.
Pretty soon it's going to turn into Wardhammer 40,000.
They really need to define the ginormous tyranid units better. IIRC there's nothing about Hierophants or those gigantic Trygons in the codex.
They're covered in the apocalypse rule book and imperial armour 4 rather than the codex.#
I do not approve of these necron changes.
Sure it needed a bit of tweaking with things like wraiths, but seriously do not remove units from the army list there should be some kind of rule against that.

I don't see a problem with replacing stuff though. E.G Tau XV15 Stealth suits.
Why would the Space Marines find turning on those they fought alongside, who turn out to be the race of sentient evil robots who want to wipe all organic life from the galaxy, distasteful?
They're fucking necrons.
The necrons helped the SM cause they are sick and tired of the tyranids stealing all their kill, that's the only possible explenation I could come up with.

They ignored each other to fight the greater threat, since it seemed neither of them was winning and the tyranids were gun' claw them both out. after the fight they felt like they sufficed their blood and justice quota and called it a day.
what I think it should've been like.

How about...
The Emprah did it. An error in Shipping meant that he had one hundred more psykers than usual that morning, and he made the Necrons spastic for that day only to save his beloved marines.
That's my theory, and I'm sticking to it.
I prefer the one that is was just a prank, and the emprah came with cake.
I get that you guys think that the ''alliance'' between the Blood Angels and the Necrons at that battle was rather dumb/unusual.

Wouldn't this also count as an usual ''alliance''?
Skip to 1:09 to see my point.

Nothing wrong with Orks and Chaos.
Orks aren't good neither bad, so they will ally with any faction as long as there is loots.

The problem with that is, Orks are retarded, so anything they say is heresy.
Oh, and Chaos was being manipulative and arguing points. The SPESS MEHREENS were not.
I suppose i can't really call that an alliance.
I guess it was more just Chaos using the Orks as a tool.

Orks fight for the sake of fighting and for loot, thus it would be plausible for them to ally with other factions if they were to benefit. Necrons fight to expunge all life from the galaxy, and it's likely they would not even care to distinguish the Blood Angels from the Tyranids. From their perspective, they're both sentient lifeforms to be annihilated.
I don't see a problem with replacing stuff though. E.G Tau XV15 Stealth suits.
True replacing is fine if the old models are still "useable", if priahs are removed I end up with models I can no longer use in my army.
And since priahs are a centrepiece unit that I put effort into it's kind of a shame if I can't use them anymore.
Still Hopefully I'll be able to find someone who will be willing to use 4th ed rules.
fuck the codex if I ever get some models I'll colour them however I want.

That's encouraged.
