In some countries in EU it's already released, on Spain and some others. It's quite a confusing release I usually play everything in English, better than the Spanish versions most of the time
Exactly. The voices are horrible in Spanish.
This is the game I have been waiting for. FUCKING AMAZING. For the Emperor, that is all.
No that uses drop pods. And beacons. Jeez Girlyman is gonna come out of his statis field and cry because his daddy didn't read his picture book :(
Thunderhawk Deep Strike. DEE-PSTR-IKE
I got some MP footage last night but it sucks (I did horrible, round after I stopped recording I got a 5 kill streak :/). Maybe I'll record some more today and if it's ok I'll throw it up on youtube
Exactly. The voices are horrible in Spanish.
I can only think of one good voice acting in Spanish, the one in Metal gear solid 1 for the psx
I've been playing multiplayer for the past 3 and 1/2 hours and holy fuck is it fun.
Sometimes I wish there was a 'I jelly' rate
So, for those of you in America and countries other than mine, how has the multiplayer held up? I was worried it'd play like Dead Space 2's multiplayer.
I wanted the Armour pack but looks like i'm going to have to get the Golden bolter as i'm not ordering from GAME again...anyone know if the Armour will be released as DLC?
Gah, the SP is basically CoD but more fun because it's Warhammer and the MP, why do you only have 1 loadout till level 4? Otherwise, games pretty damn good
Ending spoiler: [sp]Leandros is a fucking cunt[/sp] Also I went to customizer, tried to create a custom marine > select wargear > Power Sword unavailable. "This wargear is available to purchase through the Steam Store."

So it's a first person shooter with a plot that makes little sense has overpowered kill streaks/weapons and repetitive gameplay and vehicle sections which will be the same in the next 4 games?

Still enjoyable though. The multiplayer on the other hand is fucking sweet. Finally started working for me about 2 hours ago and I got to level 12 playing almost exclusively devastator. As long as you get setup somewhere nothing short of a sniper will be able to take you out. I already have most of the heavy bolter challenges finished and my other loadout has the las cannon equipped. I got some dudes lascannon and held off a point by myself against 4 tacticals by just strafting around and 1 shotting them with it.
Pretty much. Still enjoyable though.
How can a 3rd person game with an actual plot/story, no killstreaks (not sure about vehicle segments) be pretty much a 1st person game with no (or a poor) plot/story, overpowered killstreaks and weapons and vehicle segments which will be exactly the same for the next 4 games they make?
Last I checked those weren't in the SP which is what I was talking about.
Those were in CoD SP (other than killstreaks)

You go down narrow corridors, are assigned objectives to do, and shoot everything that remotely looks green. You pick up new weapons along the way, and I have already experienced one vehicle section. It's still an enjoyable experience though because like CoD both games have tight controls and fantastic gunplay.

Going down corridors and having objectives are not CoD exclusive, and i don't remember shooting green things in CoD. That is stupid to say it is like CoD because of that. And thanks for the spoiler.
I don't see a single spoiler there apart from "there may be one vehicle section" though comparing a third and first person game that both have shooting mechanics strikes me as incredibly foolish.

That's just what it reminds me of. If you don't use the melee option it plays just like a third person CoD, but in a cool setting of course.

And you did imply it was, you said it was like CoD because of those things.
So is this game worth picking up? Does anyone have a good idea of how long the singleplayer is at this point? I wanted to buy it, but I was holding off because I was worried the SP would be a 6 hour linear campaign.
Space Marine singleplayer is a repetitive but enjoyable experience just like CoD singleplayer, that's all I said. Stop getting mad.

The multiplayer is really good though, and while the singleplayer is linear, it's a lot of fun because the controls and mechanics are solid. I want to compare it to another shooter I like but I dunno if nightlord will get mad or not.

TPS games is more understandable, but you will probably just compare it to Gears when the only thing similiar is 3rd person and execution moves.
Stop comparing it to FPS games. TPS games is understandable.
I can't compare it to very many other TPS. The first thing that I thought of after turning off the game after 3 hours of campaign is "Call of Duty: 40,000" I am truly sorry if this offends you. I make the comparison because I like Call of Duty. If you want me to compare it to another linear, checkpoint based, repetitive-but-still-pretty-addictive shooter then I can try that.

Did they say it would not be linear or have no checkpoints? No. Just because it is linear doesn't make it bad, Half life 2 is linear.
