By the fealty of the God Emperor, our fun-loving Lord, and by the grace of the Golden Throne. I declare Happy Birthday on the Imperial citizen (insert name here). I hearby sign the fun warrant of this entire birthday party. And consign you and your friends souls to a good time. May Imperial fun account in all balance. The Emperor protects.
This, here, is poetry. I thank you kindly, for my birthday is coming soon myself.
Avitus can use any heavy weapon.
I know, i failed on that sentence a bit. I'm just saying that Avitus's AV weapon is in most cases a lascannon, and that he can't use a Rocket Launcher.
I find the Tyranids really unfun to play as in DoW2.
Nids this version are really pretty but spectacularly unfun all the way around, not just DoW. Of course GW never makes mistakes, so you'll have to put up with it until the next edition.

[sp]As expected, they still manage to kill every sister of battle[/sp]
Can anyone give me some Ork campaign advice on the harder difficulties for Retribution? Tried shootin, choppin and even bein sneaky.
Can anyone give me some Ork campaign advice on the harder difficulties for Retribution? Tried shootin, choppin and even bein sneaky.
Do the most orky thing you can do. Negotiate then kill everything with your mind powers.
I find the Tyranids really unfun to play as in DoW2.
Bullshit. I love them, I have yet to lose! [editline]7th September 2011[/editline] Can anyone explain to me how Captain Titus can [sp]handle the warp?[/sp] The game doesn't explain that, not even [sp]in the ending.[/sp] Damn cliff-hanger ending. I'm sure you know why Rayven? The game was linear as fuck, but it was the most entertaining game I've played so far this year. I would almost consider it this years Just Cause 2. Once Saints Row 3 comes out though, that'll change. But the emperor will still be with me.

He's immune to everything.[/sp]
The game was linear as fuck, but it was the most entertaining game I've played so far this year. I would almost consider it this years Just Cause 2.
Got "A Thousand Sons", "Galaxy in Flames", and "The Flight of the Eisenstein" using birthday money (so i guess it counts as presents). Also got Space Marine for the PC. 40k Themed birthday go.
On space marine. I'm setting my mic to stereomix so that people can understand the horror that is open mic. I really just cannot get over the textures at close range. They seriously look worse then when it was fully zoomed in for Dawn of war 2. Fucking console ports taking less then 600 mb of ram at all times.

Armor does not. Have to admit this game does look good if you aren't extremely close to stuff

It takes a shitton of will power though, even for Space Marines. Its possible hes one of the few who could resist daemonic possession.[/sp]

The Outfit looks better then this game at times. [editline]8th September 2011[/editline] Is there a windowed mode or something? I think the game would look better on a non full screen 720p.
Dude it's only during cinematics that it looks bad

Can anyone give me some Ork campaign advice on the harder difficulties for Retribution? Tried shootin, choppin and even bein sneaky.
The more difficult the game is, the better your drops. The attack path should be maxed first, then health. Hammers and rockets are your friend. Just finished SM again and it wiped half of my achievements. Beaten the game twice on hard yet somehow "only killed 500 enemies." Right. Way to playtest, guys.
[sp]Sequel maybe?[/sp]
That's what I though. I was asking because maybe some of the other Warhammer vets' know something about the warp/history in the series that I don't.
Easy. He's [sp]the player character. He's immune to everything.[/sp] SR3. :eng101:
He's an ultramarine. No other explanation needed.

[sp]If he was a blank, Drogan wouldn't have been able to get near him, and Nemeroth would have been a lot more grumpier around him.[/sp] [editline]8th September 2011[/editline]
Maybe they'll release an HD texture pack or something like what Crytek did with Crysis 2.
THQ don't release shit. If it's not done by a modder, it's not going to happen.
Can anyone fucking tell me how to beat Grey Knights? Fucking armies of power weapon wielding psyker space marines with storm bolters. How does one counter something that can gun down hordes of gaunts, cut through terminators, and beef themselves up to chop up vehicles? You can't even deep strike within 12 fucking inches of them because of that warpquake bullshit. How do, Facepunch?

Beat the campaign. Was rather short, but not to the point that it took away from the game itself. Found it to be incredibly entertaining. Chaining attacks and executions makes me feel like a total bad ass. Though, I only have ONE gripe about the game: They missed a really good opportunity when [sp]you go to the Inquisitor's research labs. He even says that the turrets mistook the ultrasmurfs and him for escaped xeno specimens, implying he HAD live xenos in the facility. It was the perfect span of time to have Tyranid enemies (without impacting the story at all), or, at the very least, have Tyranid corpses on the tables/in the containers. And maybe other races that didn't appear in the game too. Disappointing.[/sp]
