I quite like it.
Meltas are annoying as fuck as an Assault marine. I understand the need for counters but does it need to be a weapon that half the time you don't realize they have until you wind up dead?

How did you color the legs below the kneepads in a different color?
I really wish i knew where to to insert the my Gamestop pre order code.
Anyone know where on the PC?
How did you color the legs below the kneepads in a different color?
Pattern On.
Just for the legs.
I think, its 'add a game' in your steam library, then 'activate a product on steam'.
At least thats how I got my deus ex dlc activated.
Well, i managed to glue Castellan's banner back to his heat exchanger backpack, but i couldn't glue it very properly and it's likely to fall off if i even use the slightest of force on it (it might fall off if i try to paint it.).
Anyway, he's pretty much finished, making some finishing paint changes, and he'll be ready.

Which is your problem to begin with.
Super mega ultra problem with Space Marine multiplayer: Matchmaking throws players of all levels together, which basically makes it "who has the most high level players" early on.
Hence the invention of the private match.

I rated you heart because that is where I felt your pain.
So on the subject of Space Marine multiplayer, has anyone else found the thunderhammer/demon maul to be useless? Once I get my chainsword all up in someone's body-area, they tend to be fucked permanently, with no chance of continuing their life after the end of my chain-swordery. I can also proceed to do that to everone near them because it becomes red from all the blood from the initial chainswording, therefore making it faster. The lightning mallet/heretic mace just seems to be a heavy clunky rod of fuck, that while deadly, is rather hard to get hits with due to it's natural non-red color. And the electro-chopper/pole with chain is similar to that except it has a bit more red associated with it. Bottom line is, the chainsword is already perfectly effective, and the other options just complicate things. Does anyone else agree/disagree?
I mean I used to think mjolnir was all that but then I went 11/0 with the chainsword:
<screenshot proving my claims>
Also the bolt pistol is fantastic and True Grit should just give you a second bolt pistol.

What glue are you using? You always seem to have trouble gluing stuff.

Army Painter super glue.
If any of you can recommend some better super glue, please do.

Depends entirely on skillsets and loadouts. relic balanced each so they have definite areas of advantage and use. Such is the wisdom of relic.

Oh well that's disappointing, I was hoping to be able to actually mix the armour up a bit.

People with Meltas all have the same strategy. If they try bumrushing your shit, hop the fuck out of there.

If you can get it, loctite gel is the best bet.
Holds very well while drying which is the problem with most glues.

200 Assists as a Space Marine.

fuck. I think I just got to 100 as a Chaos. For some reason all my Chaos Challenges are waaaay further than the Space Marines.
We should all just add eachother on steam and power level with eachother.
that sounds really homo but c'mon space marines are slightly homo as it is
I don't want to take all the fun out of this. I play just to have a good time and the unlock every couple of matches makes it more rewarding.
Speaking of levels, is there a way to reset like in CoD? I don't care about getting a title or anything, I just like to start over.

Theres no way to ingame, but I am pretty sure the content is stored locally.

so I can pull a MW2 and just delete the content then start over? Also I could make backups then.
[editline]9th September 2011[/editline]
and someone could make an editor then.
[editline]9th September 2011[/editline]
oh god I wonder if this will be like MW2 where you can have guns for perks. Assault with a heavy bolter, hammer, lascannon, and the health increase perk.
Anybody know why they don't fire on the turret?

They saw a heretic in the ventilation shaft above the turret.

Mind you, I don't know if that's absolutely true, nor do I know where it is saved, but most games that adopt a peer to peer system store data locally, It could very well be saved on Steam Cloud.
Okay, so I just bought this and oh my god is it awesome.
I've yet to play the multiplayer, though. Should I wait for that or should I try to finish the game first?
Also is it GoW-esque multiplayer? Like against other people, or is it like you work as a team against hordes of enemies?
There are two modes, a team deathmatch mode and a control-points mode. Both are competitive.
They are adding cooperative horde mode sometime in October for free.
fuck it, playing multiplayer now
reminds me of a less gay cod

I cant find the save in any location that other games use. Not game directory, not steam userdata, not my documents or my games. I have no idea where the saves are. Maybe Appdata/roaming or something?
...oh my god
