Colours seem to be mixed. Shoota boys are yellow, therefore would fir Bad Moonz, while the choppa boys are red. Normal boys are grey-ish (I think) so they'd fit Goffs.

I love use it against assaults\raptors, especially with thunder\maul (1 shot - 1kill). They really piss me off, almost insta-death.

And it does have the same speed and damage in MP as the chainsword, but i'm not sure about SP.

I've gone through the campaign three times, and lose the hard armor, and "don't die until chapter 6" and "use a heavy bolter/plasma cannon x 250" achievements every time I restart the game. Also have gotten the 10-1 and lose it every time I restart the game or shut off my system.

There should be a more #Rock Paper Scissors dynamic to the classes.
Devestator kills Tactical, Tactical kills assault, Assault kills devestators.
Not that you'd not be able to take out a tactical marine as an assault marine, just that you'd need more skill and timing to do so.

AvP 2010 had rps setup and everyone hated it. You need a blur between classes so you have reasonable effectiveness between groups among equally skilled users.
As someone who has playtested stuff like that hardcore, trust me; a hard counter sounds great on paper but leads to nothing but rage when it's implemented in a dynamic environment.
It's kind of a shame how in the beginning of the SP campaign you've got all these execution animations for the chain sword with the orks, but as you go on and get the power axe there's even less, and when you get the hammer it's only two (one for everyone and the other one for nobs and the chaos mace guys). And if you try the chainsword it's only two too.
Which sucks and shows how lazy the devs got on the later game, because there's so many different execution animations for orks with the chainsword.

If the maps were bigger Assaults would make more sense, since they're supposed to rape tacticals AND devastators in CC but get outranged by anything

Yes because you can be creative with an axe and a giant two handed hammer, do me a favour go get a sledgehammer, take the head off and put a really big chunk of concrete on the end and assuming you can still lift it try to pretend you're killing shit and be creative.
I have to say it's hilarious getting 3 other friends and all going assault with DFA and rushing their first CP on siege ground. It is enough to kill all of them.
I wish the melee system was better.
I often lose a kill mainly because suddenly when i'm about to swing at somebody, i'll end up swinging it the completely wrong/opposite way.

If you have Kraken Bolts, it only takes about 6-10 bolts to kill somebody.
Nerf Kraken bolts, increase Bolter damage without Kraken bolts to equalize.

But when the blur is so bad that a class that shouldn't be able to own an assault marine can, and owns everyone else, then the blur is too much, hell, I've had Devs who were set up not only able to beat me in attacking when i ground pound directly on them, but then able to out melee me with their stomp, that, is just plain ridiculous.

Yeah I am actually confused they made Devastator melee so good. They can stomp (which stuns people) then get in a one-two kick combo that kills anything that isn't a Dev itself.

As creative as you can be stabbing someone with a chainsword, which technically you should only be able to slash with it. I'm not asking for acrobatics, I'm just asking for a little bit of variety as the chainsword has. And the axe shouldn't be harder to swing than the chainsword. Especially when you're an astartes as RayvenQ said, they're more than humans for some reason.
