Depends how horribly painted they are.
If they are unpainted, that's a great deal.
Depends how horribly painted they are.
Oh, i meant it as in the total worth of all the models. I didn't really think about the fact that he could actually sell them.
If they are unpainted, that's a great deal.
Most of them are unpainted. Some of them are poorly painted. Very few are primed. Since I plan on doing a lot of conversions, they suited my needs (especially my friend's hammerhead that one of his friends assembled using too much superglue...) [editline]11th September 2011[/editline]
Are you fucking serious? 2000 points of Orks and 1400 points of Tau must be worth at least more than 300 dollars. [editline]11th September 2011[/editline] Automerge, damn it.
Almost $600. Most of the unpainted ones are my friends former models.

Anyway, here are the three Grey Knight Terminators i assembled and painted, i'd appreciate any constructive criticism. First Grey Knight Terminator: [thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/Picture_2301.jpg[/thumb] Second Grey Knight Terminator: [thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/Picture_2314.jpg[/thumb] Third Grey Knight Terminator: [thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/Picture_2322.jpg[/thumb]
I like the universe this takes place in, but I hate RTS games, generally, and I'm not going to play a board game. I wish they'd make more games like Space Marine. :<
Table top game. Not board game.
For the painted ones, throw them in some simple green.
If I can get a hold of some, I will. I'll probably end up using Easy Off or something. [editline]11 September 2011[/editline] Also, if anyone is interested, the thread for this conversion work is on Dakka under P&M Blog.

They're fun to paint as well if you've not done Terminators before. Here are some of mine: [thumb]http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/1337/0421d3f663fa67c12cf42a3.png[/thumb] [thumb]http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/3497/wp000196.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/8931/wp000197.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/8408/wp000198v.jpg[/thumb] I paint the helmets red because I think it looks cool v:)v

Though, seeing as you're experienced with Grey Knights (at least judging from what i've seen), would you care to tell me a few things? Firstly, i'd love to give my Grey Knights a bit more detail, seeing as they're just mithril silver everywhere apart from the edges of the halberds being asuran blue, i'd like to ask you what paint you use to paint the purity seals/tomes/books and what not. Second, i noticed that your second picture had a Grey Knight Terminator with a sword and storm shield, but to me it looks like you've taken some Grey Knight hero, like Stern or Kaldor Draigo, and you put a Grey Knight Terminator helm onto them instead of their original heads. Did you do that, because if you did, you are a winner.

I paint the seals scab red and highlight with blood red, and the paper scorched brown with bleached bone over the top. And you're spot on - it's Draigo with a Terminator helm (I hate painting faces)

I've currently got: Shining Gold, Scab Red, Regal Blue, Asurmen Blue (Sorry, i accidentally sayed Asuran Blue earlier. :v:), Boltgun Metal, Mithril Silver and Skull White. Also, words cannot express how many winner ratings i want to rate you because of that ''GKT helm instead of face on hero'' trick you knew. Heck, i don't think i would had bought Castellan had i known this trick sooner.

As for the paper itself, you will have a hard time with those colours, but you could try mixing some and see how it goes. The head thing is a simple conversion and there are plenty like it, so try messing around with it :)
When you unlock the armor for finishing the campaign, can you mix and match it or only use the full armor?
I like the universe this takes place in, but I hate RTS games, generally, and I'm not going to play a board game. I wish they'd make more games like Space Marine. :<
You should try Firewarrior :v:

I'll see if i can get any more paints, i feel as if my GKTs are too basic or too undetailed at the moment.
It's a corpse that is merely still twitching...
Doesn't seem like that when you read the books to be honest.
When you unlock the armor for finishing the campaign, can you mix and match it or only use the full armor?
No, sadly.
No, sadly.
"can you mix and match or only use the full set?" "no"

how annoying, i've been working 8-6 (past closing time for GAME) for the past 4 days and i've not been able to pick up my order of Space Marine and my family has failed to do it for me...hope they hold onto my order...but..... questions! Can there be Librarian (or psyker) dreadnaughts? or perhaps chaplain versions? it'd be awesome to see a dread armed with a crozius or able to use physic powers and is there any warhammer 40k merchandise (uk wise) that i can buy somewhere bar the books/models? (shirts etc?) 40k has some really awesome artwork..
But when the blur is so bad that a class that shouldn't be able to own an assault marine can, and owns everyone else, then the blur is too much, hell, I've had Devs who were set up not only able to beat me in attacking when i ground pound directly on them, but then able to out melee me with their stomp, that, is just plain ridiculous. [editline]11th September 2011[/editline] Sure i will, as soon as i become a genetically engineered pust human super human!
The animation on the stomp is horrendously slow; an ASM can get in and out of range even off a complete burn.
The animation on the stomp is horrendously slow; an ASM can get in and otu of range even off a complete burn.
Not really.

And i'm not really sure about 'psyker dreadnoughts', but i see no reason why they would be seperated from the Warp despite being mortally wounded/incapacitated.
Not really.
I guess my 10+ string on a poor dev was all random chance despite us having equal pings then? I was saying that to your statement on the stomp time. It's a one second "cast" without the upgrade and half a second with it. Not to mention when you do get it off, it stuns and strips the armor of everyone that doesn't have a survivability perk.
Roll/Burst is less, end of discussion. If you choose to stay and take the effects or lack the reflexes to identify and avoid, of course you're going to have trouble. In a non-lag situation, you were simply out shot and/or maneuvered. You can Drop a grenade prior Roll to the back roll to the X and DFA again use the takeoff burn perk charge up an incoming shot get a couple BP headshots on the way and then force the DFA etc etc etc. If there's a good chance you'll lose, don't engage, simple as; unless you're wearing khornate armor.
