Don't know if anyone else has had this theory, because after a google search I found no results. So I have a theory about captain titus which may or may not hold water but could explain why he's not effected by the warp and why him interacting with that blasted device didn't kill those around him the second time: He's a blank. This means he'd be a grade sigma or below psyker (aka more powerful grade) and emits negative psychic energy, which saps normal psychic and warp energy from wherever they happen to be. If this were the case he'd be the least corruptible man in the universe as he has literally no connection to the warp. Just keep him away from necrons or they'll try to turn him into a pariah. The only weak point to this theory is that he wasn't found out by the [sp]demon host of[/sp] inquisitor who very well could be a psychic, although he did find him strange so maybe he just didn't know what word to use. It fits.
ONly problem with that kiwi is 1. He'd have been found out as a blank long before the mission, i.e whenever it first appeared/when he was a recruit. Even if he'd somehow avoided having been detected by the librarians when he was a recruit, they'd pretty much know the moment he did turn into one. Secondly, he'd have made EVERYONE feel uncomfortable and give them the creeps, that includes Mira, Sidonus and Liandros. (also fyi Blanks aren't psykers and aren't rated on a psyker scale either, they're either blanks, or they aren't.)
I have a better theory, in one of the Gaunt's Ghosts books [sp] a small group of the Ghosts spend 2 years on a Chaos held world and when they eventually come back Gaunt is interrogated by an Inquisitor who Gaunt tells they weren't corrupted simply because they had the will power to tell Chaos to go fuck itself[/sp]
This day, is my FUCKING BEST day in this month! Not only did I got Spehss Mahreen preorder with Elite Armour, I also received Golden Relic Chainsword, Golden Relic Bolter AND ULTRAMARINES PROMOTIONAL CODES!!! QUADRUPLE PROMOTIONAL POOWAAAH! I fucking <3 Puolenkuun Pelit! Though I think that Ultramahreens promotional is for everyone who order retail as it is in instruction manual.
lPLOT ARMOUR ENGAGED
I think he has a plot sword as well considering how easily [sp]he hacked a couple of Chaos Space Marines in half[/sp]
He isn't a blank.
Is anyone here a GM for dark heresy or any 40k roleplaying game?
Cyclocius is.
Cyclocius is.
Good GM, terrible team (party cell, shenanigans everywhere).
I think he has a plot sword as well considering how easily [sp]he hacked a couple of Chaos Space Marines in half[/sp]
I don't think it was easy, he barely survived and the book notes that the CSM's are basically walking titans of death. Plus he was using a power sword, which does cut right through power armor, especially ancient-ass CSM power armor. Though admittedly it's funny that only one Ghost got slightly injured in the whole fight.

Also, ridiculous amounts of exposure to very strong psykers can potentially change the status of a blank's "immunity". A blank named Frauka spent around either 3 months to a few years (I'm not sure how much time passed) next to a powerful psyker in a coma and he eventually lost his status as a blank. Some of the Imperium's top assassins know exactly what to do to drop a Space Marine dead in their tracks without a much trouble.
I wonder if GW will canonize Titus
To anyone who finished the game/saw credits: Is matt ward credited?
No. Mah did the story.
But how well would these assassins fare in the middle of a large scale battle?
It's not exactly a fair comparison If you look at the overall cost of equipping a thousand space marines with armor, weapons, munitions, vehicles, ships, etc sending in a billion guardsmen is probably cheaper and will end up with the same result

i was thinking, if there was going to be a good warhammer film (district 9 like CGI) what conflict would it be based on? i don't read the books i just read lore and play the games but wouldn't the Great Crusade which spans over 200~ish years make a good 3 part film like LoTR?
Horus Heresy, I'd think.
that could be a 2nd(4th) film following on from the first
game still haven't delivered sm to me yet and i cant cancle because they're doing some BS with the website and it says "unshipped".
They cancled my pre order for the elite armour pack (was going to gift the second copy to a friend) so they ended up sending me the codes for the elite armours but then cancled my copy because I had no money in my account. So basically I got free codes without paying for anything.
Horus Heresy, I'd think.
I think there's just far too much for films about the Heresy, personally I'd like a Band of Brothers style move/series. Oh and I just saw this on the Games Workshop facebook page
I'd like to see a movie of the first 3 books in the HH, possibly 1 movie per book, I find the story of the Luna Wolves the best so one so far with Garviel Loken and shit going down aboard the ship. Shame chances are it would be horrible. There could be many a thousand films done on the 40k universe anyways.
I'd like to see Nemesis and First Heretic as movies. Especially Nemesis, because of one particular character: [sp]Spear[/sp].

It'd be a bit like the original star wars trilogy, in my opinion. Also, that's an awesome pic there, is that wool or candy floss?

I was just gleaning more about them from the lexicanum wiki thing when I was writing. That being said, it may explain why his character was bland as fuck.
