Of course he should style the base in whatever way he'd like if he wants to do so, concrete, arctic, grassy/rocky, but he doesn't have to change his base.

Don't underestimate the power of a good base. a good modelled, well painted base will help complement your model, but an entirely untouched base draws the eye away from the model.

I'm not underestimating the power of a good base, but i'm just saying, the base doesn't always matter the most.
A model which has been painted fairly well and has good detail will probably draw more attention than a good base.

The plain base pretty much looks like tarmac to me so I don't mind. If not I can just slap some grass on there later.

If anything, i'm a bit picky about the stance of how she holds her bolter, it looks a bit like the bolter is bent, i think.

Oh and in Space Marine, those cultists with the warp ray are fucking terrifying on maximum difficulty, they kill you in the blink of an eye. Oh and [sp]was disappointed that the battle with Nemeroth was so easy, fuck the battle before him was much harder, with the lack of cover and mass Bloodletters with cultist support.[/sp]

I haven't even tried hardest difficulty yet, I'm going to get round to it once I start getting a little bored of multiplayer. I also bought Kill Team so I have that to play through.

Good news, guys.
I finally seem to have found a good solution to painting force weapons on Grey Knights.
I decided to mix Skull White and Regal Blue, and then painted one of my Grey Knight Terminator's halberds, and after that had dried, i added some thin layers of Asurmen Blue, and then i got a good color.
Should i post pictures?

UGH, I hate it when is drawn NOTHING like anime, and yet eveyone calls it like this. Such an overused word. Also there is no captain in this picture. It's a scout marine.

The bolter is p much absolutely straight, but the end of the barrel poking out is not.
