I don't think anyone can argue that Nurgle isn't the best god to have, unless that Khorne honor thing is still canon in which case he's a close second.
Tzeentch isn't really played up that much, but he might be if he was put into more spotlight? And Slaanesh is dumb unless you're a sadist sex fiend.
Technically Chaos gods are ageless.
Although, one of Tzeentch's hencmen and one of his most diabolical mazes got beaten and outstarted....by a little girl and her dog.
AND YET NURGLE'S GARDEN IS ON FIRE AND TZEENTCH'S CITY HAS BEEN SHATTERED.
Daemonic genius huuur.

They all have their downsides. With Khorne, you basically have to become suicidal or risk facing his wrath. Nurgle, although he takes care of his followers, his followers become infested with horrifying diseases. Slaanesh, you become a pervert and a hippy. Tzeentch, you have a tendency to mutate/explode into chaotic flesh.

My favorite is Tzeentch because he's all about knowledge and KNOWLEDGE IS POWER, GUARD IT WELL.
It''s in the Chaos Daemons codex iirc.
yeah, and the Nec codex shows the war which created thus. So whilst immortal, also a baldfaced liar, seeing as the Eldar can show thus as well.
Am I missing a reference to something here or is this canon?
It's in the Chaos Daemons codex, I think.
Also, isn't Tzeetch's biggest enemy himself, in many ways? I though that half his plots are against his other plots. He can't 'win' either - winning implies that there would be no change, and therefore he'd have no power.

Wait, does that mean it can't become a relic?

What the flying fuck, Tzeetch seems like he is a massive [del]dumbass[/del] schizophrenic.

JUST AS PLANNED!
Also, he is the best Chaos God for turning people randomly into Chaos Spawns. Oh god, why di-GRABLArGHGFDAAAAAFGF!
So, I just finished my playthrough of Space Marine, and noticed in the credits they have a memorial still to Brian Wood

He's just the most chaotic of the chaos god. There's a reason the chaos symbol is eight arrows all pulling in different directions.

Hush now, you should never refuse a gift, it's rude.
Tzeetch has plans within plans within plans, just because you can't understand doesn't mean he's crazy.
He's not my favorite simply because of the absurdity of it.
:v:

The 8 pointed star is the mark of chaos because of each god/factions rivalries with each other. 4 gods, each usually hate one other god in particular.

Well, my point was that Chaos inherently works against itself as much as outside parties - the four god's rivalries being one of the more major examples.
I'm going to have to agree that, if you have to choose a Chaos god to serve, Nurgle would probably be the best choice.
Tzeentch sees you as a pawn, with all the expendability that entails.
Khorne sees you as a weapon. Or, if you fare badly enough, a potential accessory.
Slaanesh sees you as a toy. Every type of toy.
Malal, when he actually exists, sees you as a wrench to throw into everybody else's machinery.
Nurgle, however, sees you as a grandson. Now come over here and give papa a biiiiig hug; he has so many presents for you.
Bedsores?!
NURGLE YOU'RE THE BEST GRANDPA EVER!!!!
I'd go with Slaanesh, we have so much in common.

That seems cool to model though, I might pick up a finecast leader and do it.

It took almost two weeks of tweaking, but I think I almost have my Dark Angels marine down.

No! That's exactly what he wants you to think!
That's why he's my favorite.

Lots of ungodly thin plasticard slivers and chunks of Greenstuff so thin they break if you breath on them.

That does not look pre-heresy era, heresy era or even after heresy Dark Angels at all. I'm sure you mean some other chapter, as Dark Angels have GREEN on their armor.

Are you prone to cutting off bits of skin then fucking everything within a four mile radius whether it wants you to or not?
'Cause then you'd be pretty awesome. Aside from all that rape and such.
Undivided master race.
The Eight-Pointed Star symbolises plagiarism. It must be true, I read it on wikipedia.
Malal/ice all the way as far as chaos gods, go, though.

Its funny because Lords of Change can see the future, and thus can't actually die, as they'll see their death before it happens. The only time they die is when Tzeentch gives them false visions of the future. So basically he is the only way to kill his own greater daemons.

Tzeentch doesn't make plays for power as such, because essentially, as change is an immutable force in the Galaxy, everything belongs to him anyway. He just writes stories to amuse himself, building up and tearing down those who serve or stand against him.
