Used to like Khorne most when I was around 10, but now fuck them Chaos Gods, go Emperor (who else has a title as God Emperor of Mankind?).
Tried replaying some dark crusade. WEE CAPTURED EET FUR CHAOWS AGH MY SPLEEN At least I could take the DoW2 cultists seriously.
Could the Emperor strike down Horus if he wasn't holding back? Yes. But that doesn't mean Horus couldn't kill him, he could. And Horus is debateably less powerful then various Greater Daemons, let alone their patron gods. So he is strong, but he is not invincible.
If the Emperor hadn't held back he'd have obliterated Horus the moment he entered the room. Also Horus was fully backed by all 4 Chaos gods, which had never happened before. During the fight against the Emperor he might not have been as powerful as the Gods themselves, but he could have defeated any Greater Daemon with one hand and blindfolded (possibly the most powerful Daemon, Doombreed (who, by the description, might be Hitler), was in fact under Horus' command). Which is why the Chaos Gods shat themselves when the Emperor annihilated Horus, heck if that was pointed at one of them maybe we'd have 3 Chaos gods now instead of 4 (also this was when the Emperor was already mortally wounded), or at least 3 functioning ones and one in a wheelchair.
could you think of it like this? Tzeentch sets a plan for some body to kill somebody else, Slanesh gets power from the injuries the people receive in the fight and Khorne gains power from the blood/death and then Nurgle gets power from the rotting corpse or would the people in question have to shout IN godsnamehere'S NAME while doing the act i have no idea exactly how the gods work

It's an oxymoron, but there's truth to it.
What if the Emperor stop dying out and the Imperium of Man get some serious technological help from the Omnissiah? Tzeentch planned that as well? While Khorne rages in the background.
Technological help from a C'Tan god? I don't know about you guys, but i have a feeling that if the story actually continues, the Void Dragon might break free out of his 'prison'.
So, I just finished my playthrough of Space Marine, and noticed in the credits they have a memorial still to Brian Wood
I also noticed that. I don't wish to be offensive, but who is Brian Wood? [editline]21st September 2011[/editline]
What would empower the gods more? A Slaanesh cultist fucking himself with a dragon dildo, a Nurgle cultist replacing his vital organs with maggots, a Tzeentch cultist slightly changing the way things are done or a Khorne cultist slaughtering everyone they can. The power Khorne gains from death is far greater than anything the other gods gain so there being more people having sex than killing one another is made up for by the ones killing each other pleasing the gods far more.
The power Nurgle gains from death is much greater than what Khorne gains from death, in my opinion. Once people die who were infected with a certain disease of Nurgle, Plaguebearers or Nurglings might spring from their body. Eventually, Nurgle will have an army of Nurglings and Plaguebearers very quickly. And in terms of efficiency, Nurgle is probably the most efficient, have you seen what his plagues can do? If one of his diseases spreads to a planet, the inhabitants of the planet will quickly die, unless they manage to escape with some fleet.
I also noticed that. I don't wish to be offensive, but who is Brian Wood?
Relic developer who died in a car crash thanks to some dumb bitches.
Relic developer who died in a car crash thanks to some dumb bitches.
Dumb bitches? What do you mean?
Woman driver decided to take her jacket off while driving, getting her friend to hold the wheel for her while she did so, they then swerved and then head on collissioned with Brian's car, killing him, 2 passengers in the womens car and injuring brians pregnant wife.
You could also blame the current version of space marines on that if you wanted to. Since he was one of the head devs at relic right?
Woman driver decided to take her jacket off while driving, getting her friend to hold the wheel for her while she did so, they then swerved and then head on collissioned with Brian's car, killing him, 2 passengers in the womens car and injuring brians pregnant wife.
Don't forget to point out Brian swerved his car so he would take the impact so his wife would have a better chance of surviving
Woman driver decided to take her jacket off while driving, getting her friend to hold the wheel for her while she did so, they then swerved and then head on collissioned with Brian's car, killing him, 2 passengers in the womens car and injuring brians pregnant wife.
That's terrible, why didn't the woman just stop the car before taking her jacket off? R.I.P Brian Wood.
Also wasn't there a theory that when humanity's desire for the Emperor to save them reached a high enough level, the psychic energies would revive the Emperor? Like a massive Whaaagh, only bigger.

Man, that's on the level of "Kitten factory burns down, kitten shipments to orphanage delayed indefintely" of depressing.
That does not look pre-heresy era, heresy era or even after heresy Dark Angels at all. I'm sure you mean some other chapter, as Dark Angels have GREEN on their armor.
Dark Angels are so badass, in my opinion. I noticed a thread on /tg/ which was about why the Dark Angels wear robes, do any of you know?
Also wasn't there a theory that when humanity's desire for the Emperor to save them reached a high enough level, the psychic energies would revive the Emperor? Like a massive Whaaagh, only bigger.
Yeah, but if that would happen it would have by now, considering that basically every single human being wants him to be alive again. And Lion 'El Johnson was raised on a fuedal planet, so it would make sense for his marines to look like monks.
Okay, so someone answer me this [sp]Not only did Captain Titus have direct contact with the warp, but he decided the best course of action would be to take the impossibly powerful warp artifact directly into Ultramarines space for storage. What, does he think the fucking Ultramarines wouldn't use it? The Ultramarines whose chapter master wields fucking daemonic weapons taken from the corpse of a chaos lord? I'm totally on fucking Leandros' side. Titus is arrogant, prideful, and powerful. If he wasn't controlled by Matt Ward's invisible puppet strings from beyond, he probably would fuck things up eventually. What if it did exactly what Titus said it might do, and when the Librarian came in contact with it it opened a portal to the warp, or corrupted his soul or some other warp wizardry? Even if you think the Inquisition fucked up, at least they know what the hell it is. At least they might know how to destroy it or how to store it. Or hell, maybe even use it. It seemed pretty damn useful to me, besides the whole attracting daemons thing. And even then, if you REALLY don't want the Ordo Xenos to have it, give it to a different branch of the Inquisition. I'm pretty sure the incorruptible Grey Knights could use a super powerful warp power source.[/sp] Okay, rant over.
How about fucking it up even more? [sp]The Grey Knights use it to power up a Dreadknight the size of a titan?[/sp] :v:
Yeah, but if that would happen it would have by now, considering that basically every single human being wants him to be alive again.
They don't want it enough yet, the situation could be a lot worse.
They don't want it enough yet, the situation could be a lot worse.
So the only way to revive the Emprah is to unite them against a common foe so prevalent it could rock the Imperium to its very foundations? Am I the only one getting serious Watchmen vibes?
Teach Orcs how to worship the emperor. Problems solved. But you have to make sure you do it with a christian rock type thing. Because loud and shiny and red possibly.
They don't want it enough yet, the situation could be a lot worse.
So let's say the Necrons, Tyranids and Chaos are all heading towards the Imperium to desecrate planets and to kill the Emperor. Would that be a bad enough situation for them to revive him?
So the only way to revive the Emprah is to unite them against a common foe so prevalent it could rock the Imperium to its very foundations? Am I the only one getting serious Watchmen vibes?
No idea if it's the only way, but it's a theory.
So let's say the Necrons, Tyranids and Chaos are all heading towards the Imperium to desecrate planets and to kill the Emperor. Would that be a bad enough situation for them to revive him?
I'd imagine that people don't really understand the urgency until the threat is in front of them (not to mention I don't think most people in the Imperium are very up to date with all the threats and how they evolve).
Teach Orcs how to worship the emperor. Problems solved. But you have to make sure you do it with a christian rock type thing. Because loud and shiny and red possibly.
Paint the Emperor red, add the Dakkakannon to the Golden Throne along with multiple, simultaneous wheels and engines to make him go faster, along with shiny bitz. Then, finally mount the Golden Throne onto a squiggoth which is then mounted onto a Stompa, then give the Emperor one of those metal jaws and a Power Klaw. And that, is how you would get the Orks to start worshipping the Emperor.
Does anyone know if the Iron Hands models are plastic or metal? I ask because I intend to do a bit of slicing and dicing to them and I don't have a razor meant for metal. Also, I want to use the bionics that come with them on other models - I just can't really do that if most of them are custom-cut plastic ones.
Where are you going to buy them from?

Not sure if there have been some new ones since then.
Where are you going to buy them from?
Order them directly from the Games Workshop website.
