There was some cool theory that Flashgitz or shoota boyz might paint their bullets a special colour so they have special ammo rounds, it would fit Orks well enough anyway. Orks also paint their explosives to make them more destructive and their vehicles red to make them faster.

I've just switched from eldar to CSM, i'm only level 6 but FUCK thats some good incentive.
Ret is pretty awesome, but I find it hard to continue playing 1v1 because I'm afraid of the inevitable time where my winning streak ends and I'm put with pros.
Haven't played Last Stand yet, how is it?

Wait, leveling up in multiplayer actually does something??? I thought it was purely a dick waving contest sorta thing. (well, having different appearances for your units sorta can go into that category buuuttt....)
I got a idea for DoW3.
You have to conquer a solar system, which has around 12 planets of alot of varities.
Each race (Lets say Tau, Space Marine, Imperial Guard, Chaos, Eldar, Dark Eldar, Tyranids and Orks) starts on their own planet or in a special way.
Orks start scattered around, no home base until you take over a good amount of regions on one of the planets you've been scattered to.
Tyranids start in a similar way, of course, or in a massive fleet.
Eldar/Dark Eldar have webways on one planet each and arrive through them then slowly build up a base.
Tau will have a base, but no defences ala codex.
Space Marines/Imperial Guards will have bases on their own planets/regions within one planet.
Chaos will work THROUGH whichever base that you don't control when you play as SM or IG.

And as you progress through regions/turns/research/time you will unlock new tech/aquire new tech.
Tau can get Gue'Vesa auxillary troops and Kroots will evolve.
Space Marines/Imperial Guards will get support from their larger parts of the regiments arriving.
Orks will band together and breed, causing more ideas to pop up and then a massive WAAAGH! is insued which unlock further tech.
And so on.
Also fleets.
Mother fucking space battles and boarding action (includes total control of units inside to sabotage ship systems).

Imperial Guard should be able to build heavy emplacements and defences, trenches and such.
I hope we have space battles in DoW 3.

For Retribution, is the ranking thing for Last Stand or for the main game multiplayer? If it's the main game I'm fucked and will probably never see half that stuff. :(
