All 3 of those pictures have some sort of Knife (although i'm not exactly sure what the first picture is holding). It may just be a Bonding Knife. While they do not like Close Combat, it does not mean they won't use it if their life depends on it.
you were saying?
you were saying?
I did not say they would use the bonding knife. Those are seperate sentances. I did not say "It may just be a Bonding Knife, while they do not like Close Combat, it does not mean they won't use it if their life depends on it."
Anyway, i changed it so it's not as confusing for you.
Please note that you, sir, came into this thread to submit a concept for your army. Don't tell me that you intended to respond to any criticism through going completely offtopic and spamming boxes.

Talking about Tau is ontopic. Anyway, sorry, was my fault for wording it like that.
Ok, i've decided that considering the amount of money i spent on W40K, i should probably do something with all the things i have (E.g Make them and paint them)
So, i didn't want my Tau to be just basic Tau. I wanted them to be sort of an 'elite' cadre so i was thinking of sticking pounches, slings etc on them to show they are well equipped. I also wanted some Enchanted blue on them as i love Blue. I was thinking: Stick equipment on them, Black Armour then Blue cloth. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Should i Paint them being i glue them?
This is your OP.

I keep thinking this would fit perfectly into warseer

What did you quote that for?
to prove that you're completely off topic
to prove that you're completely off topic
That is not offtopic. This is the W40K thread, which means discussion for W40K.
Discussing the Hobby aspect of W40k is still discussing W40K.
Goddamnit, stop whining. Whining is heretical.
That is not offtopic. This is W40K thread, which means discussion for W40K - which is a game. Might not be a Video game, but it is still a game.

By your logic, if, for example, in the middle of the bonding knife article, I started ranting about how overpowered JotWW was, that would still be considered relevant.
By your logic, if, for example, in the middle of the bonding knife article, I started ranting about how overpowered JotWW was, that would still be considered relevant.
What? I don't even know what JoTWW is. Now you are just being stupid. Discussing W40K in the W40K thread is on topic.
Didn't 40k come first, then Warhammer Fantasy? Or is it the other way around?

It's a Space Wolf psychic power.
It's a Space Wolf psychic power.
I haven't played W40K in years, and haven't got a Space wolf Codex so didn't know that.
Didn't 40k come first, then Warhammer Fantasy? Or is it the other way around?
I think the fantasy game came first, could be wrong. Plus 40k went through several TT games before being what it is today (ie Space Hulk)
Fantasy was first. Hurrah!
Then Rogue Trader, then 40k (after a fashion).
i believe that space hulk came in between rogue trader and 40k
and let's not forget

What exactly does Firestorm over Kronus change in DC?
It's a Space Wolf psychic power.
Drunkards using psychic powers?
I can't imagine that going well. :v:
Given that it basically screws tyranids the fuck over by making all their carnifices fall into a hole in the ground
What exactly does Firestorm over Kronus change in DC?
Adds loads of new models (e.g Chapter master, jump packs for captains, Autarch, Rubric Marines, Chaos lords for each god), makes the game a lot like the table top game (proper weapons choices for each squad, more realistic troop ratios) and Spacemarines can no longer get stomped in under 30 seconds. Now, they are slow firing, hard hitting and expensive tankers.
Also, infantry weapons can't destroy tanks (heavy weapons can of course, so I always give my SM las cannons) and the ai is more challenging to play against. Definitely worth a try.

(The blue ones are my chapter, Omega lords. Ive got a model army in RL for them as well.)
Check the mini map in the last pic to see where the mass corpses came from.
What exactly does Firestorm over Kronus change in DC?
Changes the combat to be closer to the stats in the codexes, much more unit choice for all armies, and there are some major changes to how population and resources work. Lots of other minor changes aswell. Also wargear, wargear errywhere.
Oh, and the massive battles game mode which allows for something of a taste of the "epic" battles some people have been clamouring on about in this thread.
cool things.
Ultrasmurf derived chapter I presume.
What exactly does Firestorm over Kronus change in DC?
It's a "closer to codex" mod. It makes the game resemble its Table top counterpart, it adds various "rules" from each model, so some have "Feel no Pain" and the like.
Dozens of new units are added, sternguard veterans, platoon command squads, Plague Marines, special Battlesuits, 'Ard Boyz. And a new army, the Black Templars who have a very different play-style to the Space Marines.
Basically, it kicks arse.
