It's too bad you only fight Blood Ravens like twice in the whole campaign.
You know, I think that it can kind of be explained and thought of logically that it was Kyras in his decent to madness that lead him to give Boreale leadership over 5 companies. Somewhere in my head I think he knew that Boreale would fail and he intended this. Mainly so that there would be little resistance towards him when he finally left the chapter for Chaos. The blood ravens go from fucking things up in multiple campaigns to just. Dying in a matter of weeks at best. I think Kyras might have also gotten a lobotomy if he, as a fucking chief librarian decided to defect under the symbol of Khorne.

Had the same idea some time ago. Had a mock up in DoW/DoW 2 including badge and banners.
Badge was a Lazy boy chair, Banner was a sofa. They had no battle cry and the text on the banner didn't go past the first letter. I need to dig this up again.

the way i did mine was to simply not glue the models into their bases until i was done painting the models, but for the ones that you have to glue on like warriors etc i find just getting an old paint brush or something (even a stick would suffice i guess) and just poke PVA everywhere its needed and just drop them into the grass/snow/dirt/rocks stuff you're using, which personally i think is better than a solid colour base, especially as i tend to get random colours of paint on the base in the process
something I'll also warn you about is posing your models correctly so they aren't off balance and falling over like I did, I'm not sure what US currency is like but here we have 2 penny coins which are the perfect size of a small base which when glued to the bottom of a small base allows you to pose a model how ever imbalanced and awesome you like and the weight of the coin keeps it upright

I just spent about 20 minutes preparing for a siege from 2 directions by Khorne followers, started the battle, CTD.
I was not amused.

Not the quickest thing to install, and the UI is a bit iffy.
So I got my next summer occupied and some few free weeks and weekends this year.
I talked to one of the owners of the hobby store (They sell Warhammer, books and a ton of other stuff, including Axis and Allies directly imported!) near my school if I could start working there during my free time/next summer and he said that I could as long as I had time.
Plus, on the 21st I'm gonna help them demonstrate how to build and paint miniatures, might get some models for free through that.

Took over the north in Call of Warhammer, carefully balancing my income. Then the game gives me 2 full stacks of elite units that cost me nearly as much as I spent in 5 turns in a single turn. So now in 3 turns I'm down to -25000 moneys and everything is revolting.
