A Thousand Psykers are sacrificed daily just to keep the Astronominican and the emperor topped up, so, yeah no.
Necrons are actually probably the only race that stands a decent chance against them, millions if not billions of them (albeit most asleep) no fear, self repairing, anti warp stuff (which would screw with the hive mind) devestating weapons and the fact they have no organic bits so the 'nids can't use them to self propogate.
I thought it was 500?
Gives me Yuuzhang Vong vibes, which isn't really a good thing. Hopefully as they advance the story they'll find some way to nerf the Tyranids somewhat so it's not a sure thing. Can't be a grimdark stalemate if the victory of one side is guaranteed.
Despite the Tyranid's size, they aren't that powerful. If they start appearing in larger numbers, then they'll have to combat more enemies at the same time. And if Necrons and Ork finally identify nids as a big threat, Nids would be in a fight that could potentially starve the Hive Mind.

Also, whatever happened to original Stormboyz? You know, the ones that wanted military order, Stalhelms, and Khorne worship.
I thought it was 500?
No it's a thousand.
Maybe a simultaneous sacrifice of a half-billion Psykers might make his pinkies twitch, but that would lower Imperial Psyker reserves to a dangerous point. They only have so many Sanctioned Psykers around.

Last chancers if you can 'find' a PDF copy. Ciaphas Cain if you want a paperback. Or just pick up any Omnibus.

The Gaunt's Ghost's series is all together pretty good. Grab the first Omnibus, it's great.

Enter fluff virus of super X. Plus unlike the YV Nids don't a suck or b have baw baw daddy issues. No side will likely ever have absolute anything, but Nids were conceived as the hinted-since-Rogue-Trader over-threat way back when in the 90s, and that's what they've been ever since.
*shrug*

Orks and Chaos no longer mix as of last codex.

The part where it's only a half-circle, at most.
According to the wiki, Orks are the most numerous and are very muscular. They could take over the galaxy if they ever united
How do you spell Heresy?
I always read it as Hee-reh-si

Wrong.
Nothing's ever going to happen with the Tyranids anyway, because if they were anywhere near as powerful as they should be, humanity, and basically everyone else, would be extinct by now - you can't have a perpetual war if 90% of the opposition is dead and the rest are unthinking machines that no longer have a purpose.
Trust me bros, somebody has this all planned out.

Every single faction in 40k has some critical weakness(es?) that isn't exploited. If the story ever progresses expect the factions to become decrepid husks of what they were.

Ironically, the God of Change will never get anywhere. His plans conflict because he's a goddamned bipolar Schizophrenic split-personality bird man.
JUST AS PLANNED. By someone.
yeah, the pound almighty, blessed is his monetary greatness.

Uhhh, well then...C'tan? Unless the Emprah suddenly wakes up and smites everyone with his mind bullets, I think the C'tan would win.

The Outlander could very well eat the Nightbringer and other C'Tan, i'm not sure if he would devour the Deciever, though.

The deceiver is by far the weakest C'Tan but it's greatest asset is guile, Which is why it survived for so long.

Well the Deciever has decieved the Outsider before and he could possibly do so again, which is why he could easily kill off the rest of the C'Tan with the Outsider as a lap dog.

You'd think inter-galactic beings would learn from their past mistakes.
[editline]10th October 2011[/editline]
The most prominient being "DONT TRUST THE GUY NAMED THE FUCKING DECEIVER. HE WILL DECEIVE YOU."
The Deciever has decieved you all, because...
He's Creed!
Wouldn't an all-out war between orks and tyranids just mean that the two forces would grow to such sizes that the universe would collapse on itself? :v: I mean, orks spread when they die, and tyranids grow when they kill, so they both feed eachother.

But the Deciever can decieve somebody so they think he's somebody else, which means he can continue to decieve people while ''disguised''.

Well, Ork also physically get stronger and larger the more they fight - so on the worlds where the Orks and the 'Nids have been deadlocked for decades your normal boyz are liable to be the size of nobs if not bigger, and any Warbosses or Big Meks would probably be the size of a hive tyrant.
Oh, and if I remember correctly 'Nids like to spread spores that make plant life rapidly grow before landing on a planet to disrupt any attempt at building defences and provide more biomass, and since Orks are part algae....
Just asking, is it possible to play some tabletop without the figures? Like, could I write
"Space Marine" or so on a piece of paper and play with that? I wanna try it out before I spend lods of emone on paint, figures, etc.
Only with a friend, of course

How about a Grey Knight Terminator? He can't run out of fuel or ammo, because he has a goddamn sword. Also, a storm bolter on the left hand.

Well, why shouldn't you? :v: You can play it with your imagination if you so well please, there's nobody to stop you (unless you do it at a Games Workshop store, they'll probably kill you for mocking their ~precious game)
