So you are saying a benevolent power exists in the warp for the good of man? HAH. This is GRIMDARK universe. Nothing is Benevolent.
What about some of the Eldar Gods? They weren't all 'evil'.
Didn't they say that whoever enters the chamber of the golden throne and isn't wanted to be seen by the Emperor gets mindfucked into oblivion? Let Chaos invade Terra, all of them enter the chamber and get their brains melted, ???, profit.
Tzeentch is sure to overcome that.
Tzeentch is sure to overcome that.
Boys I think we have a "LOL KAOS CHAOTIK EBUL" fan. [editline]19th June 2011[/editline]
What about some of the Eldar Gods? Except that one that the harlequins follow, he seems like a jovial fellow.

Also, if i'm not mistaken, harlequins follow the Laughing God, which is in fact the Deceiver.
Just bomb the planet?
why do I feel the quality of this thread is constantly decreasing
Because people went over the top in the space of like 3 posts.
Also, if i'm not mistaken, harlequins follow the Laughing God, which is in fact the Deceiver.
Where is this from? Lexicanium has a sentance about it, but there's no source.
Maybe it is Alpharius on the Golden Throne, and anyone who finds out is killed!
Fixed, Omegon is on Macragge.

Their Gods must be p. chill.
Fixed, Omegon is on Macragge.
No, That doesn't make sense at all.
Where is this from? Lexicanium has a sentance about it, but there's no source.
It must be in a Codex, i also read it from the Lexicanum. Lexicanum didn't explain why the Deceiver is acting as an Eldar God, i think he's gaining the trust of harlequins to one day use them against the Eldar or some other race. There was also another theory that he does this to be amused or to be loved.
Don't worry, everything will be eaten by the Tyranids anyway. You can't melt something's brain when it has no brain to begin with.
Don't worry, everything will be eaten by the Tyranids anyway. You can't melt something's brain when it has no brain to begin with.
We shall stand against the wave of vile creatures with the most fearsome weapon! Guardsmen!
Don't worry, everything will be eaten by the Tyranids anyway. You can't melt something's brain when it has no brain to begin with.
But the Tyranids are easily manipulated
I heard bright blinking lights give them seizures.

They'll never see it coming.
Alright we're waiting, I'm guessing Abbaddon will lead the way straight to Terra? :roflolmao:
Yeah they'll go straight there and thru cadian gate, i'd like to seem them try and take cadia, AGAIN. :mmmsmug: [editline]19th June 2011[/editline]
But the Tyranids are easily manipulated
Wait wasn't it speculated/hinted at that the tyranids were actually fleeing from something, i swear i read that from somewhere more than less official source.
Wait wasn't it speculated/hinted at that the tyranids were actually fleeing from something, i swear i read that from somewhere more than less official source.
If that's true, then that's fucking awesome.
I think it's a rumor in the 40k fluff / universe W40k Megathread V2: Speculation on speculation in a fantasy universe
Will the WH40k story ever continue? Like, will this "last crusade" the emperor tasked The Lion to deal with ever arrive?
But the Tyranids are easily manipulated
Only if they are not around synapse creatures. The most they've been "manipulated" is having someone send a ship with dormant genestealers on it to an ork planet to draw the hive fleet to the orks.
Wait wasn't it speculated/hinted at that the tyranids were actually fleeing from something, i swear i read that from somewhere more than less official source.
Yeah, that's one of two theories by the Imperium on why the Tyranids are trying to infest the galaxy: 1, they ate everything in their own galaxy and now must find more, or 2, they are fleeing from something even worse. My guess is the former.
Yeah, that's one of two theories by the Imperium on why the Tyranids are trying to infest the galaxy: 1, they ate everything in their own galaxy and now must find more, or 2, they are fleeing from something even worse. My guess is the former.
if they "ate" everything in their galaxy already, they could result to cannibalism. And their quest is not because of hunger, the hive mind needs more bio-mass for some reason. And what worse than the C'tan and Chaos gods could they flee from?
if they "ate" everything in their galaxy already, they could result to cannibalism. And their quest is not because of hunger, the hive mind needs more bio-mass for some reason. And what worse than the C'tan and Chaos gods could they flee from?
I didn't mean they literally had to eat, but they ARE driven by hunger, its just the hunger of the hive mind rather then the individual. It compels them to seek out more biomass endlessly. And various psykers have tried to probe the hive mind, and only one got out without being mindfucked to death. The hunger is unending, which means the hive mind doesn't need a set amount of biomass, its just "programmed" to consume everything. There's a theory that the Tyranids were a last resort of the Old Ones to use against the Necrons and the C'tan. Basically consume all life in the universe to starve the C'tan.
Will the WH40k story ever continue? Like, will this "last crusade" the emperor tasked The Lion to deal with ever arrive?
I imagine it'd continue as soon as GW can come up with whatever the Tyranids are running from and how to make the Emperor die but in such a way that no one'll really mind.
I imagine it'd continue as soon as GW can come up with whatever the Tyranids are running from and how to make the Emperor die but in such a way that no one'll really mind.
God damn it people the whole "Tyranids running from something" is just an in-fluff theory. They mention it in one sentence, then go "Its unlikely because they are so advanced" or something to that effect. Its much more likely they just exhausted the biomass in the galaxy they were in. Who knows, the Milky Way could be their 50th galaxy consumed.

I'd run the hell away from Soulstorm as well.
You guys have more fanatical devotion than i've seen on christian forums, its really a great read. Also, Eldar would rape the half-dead emperor.
