Imhotek
oh god that pun
The Deathmarks look quite cool, although their resemblance to a Combine Elite painted silver makes me wary of them. That and their silly looking stocks.
Also crewed necron vehicles are silly. I don't like the design ethos of take a Casket of Souls and tape rocket engines to it.
I'm buying up all the old Necron warrior kits in my area before the new (more) expensive ones hit.
Good idea.
Perhaps you could sell them for lots of cash once a few months have passed because they might be considered as ''antique'' by then, though, if you do plan on doing that, only assemble them, don't paint them.

Not all Necrons are mindless, soulless killing machines.
Necron Lords retain a bit of memory from their past life, so who knows, perhaps those Necron Lords could be Tomb King lords/sorcerers that were long ago turned into Necrons and remembered their own names.
Maybe. Though I have to wonder why, if they have any memory of their past lives, they don't rebel in any way, considering that the Necrons fuck up everything and the Lords have control of most of them.
Though that's both extremely optimistic and assumes the C'Tan were stupid enough not to implment a fail-safe, which they most probably did.
Remember how slow Necrons are? Then tell me how the fuck will this work:

"Dispersion Shields" sound like something that'll protect them, so I guess they advance really, reeeally slowly so the enemy focuses their fire on them so they don't get their unbreakable robo-claws up in their faces. Sort of a "Tank", I guess.

Not all Necrons are slow, take Pariahs for example, plus, tabletop doesn't often go according to fluff.
I'm pretty much convinced that the new Necron models are purely based on Tomb Kings, i mean seriously, look at them.
I think the stave things fire some kind of energy thing out of the top though.
I think the stave things fire some kind of energy thing out of the top though.
That's the same with Pariahs, also, the staves are called warscythes.
If anything, i really hate those orbs on top of the warscythes.
I know nothing about them, except for the standard necrons, but I think they won't be that melee orientated.
Them being inspired/designed after Tomb Kings is not a bad thing.
TK have really cool stuff and look great too. (oh god imagine a bone giant)
I still can't forgive them for raping the Necron fluff. The individual units look amazing but the transports are still stupid.
And them getting rid of Pariahs.
Pariahs are gone?
All my thoughts about buying them.
No...
I must see if the store nearby has any, I need to buy some before they are out completely.
Poor Pariahs.
"hyperphase swords"
Because Warscythe just wasn't cool enough.
Anyone else find it fucking hilarious how that one necron transport is a floating rowboat?
[t]http://i.imgur.com/UhHFi.jpg[/t]
That one.

What is the guy in the seat even pointing at? Is he going "There they are! Drive over to them!"? Seems unlikely, since he's apparently the one driving.
In fact, why are the Necrons all holding on like they're on the Tube? Aren't they meant to be unfabbable machines?
He is obviously shouting something about driving closer and hitting people with swords.
They're clearly sharp paddles.
It's like Matt ward opened a history book, flipped to a random page, found something cool and was like "WE NEED TO GIVE THE NECRONS THAT!"
"Uh...sir, those are viking row boats...we already have space vikings."
"OHHH MAN THIS IS COOLER! GIVE THEM THAT TOO!"
"Sir...those are Roman chariots..."

Like a kid in a candy shop, but the candy is made of other people's fun.
So more like a vampire in a blood-bank.

They got rid of Pariahs?
Excuse me while i go set the nearest Games Workshop store on fire.
is it just me or do the new Necron units look really stupid and over done?.
This is how Necrons look

Now what is with this fruity colored, gaudy looking, rowboat paddlin' bullshit?

C'tan are gone too bro. So I guess the secret to freeing yourself from zombified slavery to a bunch of would-be gods is Matt Ward.
ALL SHOULD FEAR THE WRATH OF THE NECRONS!

I never said it was a bad thing, i think Tomb Kings are awesome.
And wow, a Necron bone giant would be awesome, it would be the first proper super-heavy unit in the Necron army.
Necron Bone Giant would be fucking fearsome.
If given some kind of mega-gauss gun, a giant war scythe wouldn't really work out too well.

You're lying, stop lying, nobody could be that stupid!
You're lying, stop lying, nobody could be that stupid!
Not 100% fact, but the only credible rumors seem to say that both C'tan and Pariahs are gone.
I really really want to be wrong.
C'tan...completely gone? (as in they never existed)
Having the C'tan out is like making it so there is no chaos gods and just saying "Some Space marines are evil and stuff"
[editline]14th October 2011[/editline]

So according to this image. We can infer that necrons will be EXTREMELY VULNERABLE BECAUSE THEY HAVE A FUCKING SHIELD! WHY THE FUCK DO THEY HAVE THAT? THEY CAN JUST COME BACK IN 2 MINUTES
Having the C'tan out is like making it so there is no chaos gods and just saying "Some Space marines are evil and stuff"
To be fair though, the Imperium is very hateable, what with the whole Facism thing and all.
