There it is. It's also the Chaos theme of DoW 2.
Chaos Gate had some pretty nifty Warhammer music as well:

And

Are some of the first that come to mind from that game.
I'm hoping to get Retribution by tomorrow, assuming I can get the money.

See the shape the prongs make? It's a big U, isn't it? And it looks like a rowboat. Guess who was the primarch of the Ultramarines?
That's right, it gets worse. The C'Tan are back, more terrifying than ever. And now, for the first time, GW is proud to unveil their leader. A monstrous, spectral entity known only in whispered tones as

Oh god, I can't breath!
I prefer Final Liberation OST, myself.

However, I noticed that majority of the music was removed because a certain account got banned. This is a great loss to the Imperium.
What exactly was the Age of Strife supposed to be like? A post-apocalyptic "roaming bands of raiders" style situation (think Rage I guess) or more like a grimdark version of modern politics?

Wasn't it when the Human Government was cut off from it's capital, Terra, by Warp Storms and then Humanity was left open to attacks from asshole Xenos and Warp monstrosities, and severing most lines of connection between parts of Humanity? Some planets, even systems, made it through virtually unchanged, some turned into Space Mad Max.
I think that's what happened. I'm not all brushed up on my lore.

But in all seriousness I like the new splintered faction thing going on with the Necrons, makes it easier to come up with a backstory for my army.
I need 2 people to play some Last stand with, anyone interested?
Well in this case the mailman smashed up your mailbox while you were building it. But yeah, the Emperor isn't really evil...just...uhhh. Angry?
What? The emperor is biggest asshole in the universe. Half of the renegade chapters fell to chaos because of the emperor.
Nighlords definitely, world eaters felt the emperor did them a disservice from the very beginning, thousands sons got bitchslapped by him as well. And you can go on.
The emperor was an omnicidal, egoistical, narcisstic maniac with a severe case of a god complex (though the last part is somewhat justified by him essentially being a god and all) who wished for his path to dominate.
Also again - chaos is not EVIL. That's the point of chaos, they're not evil. They are excessive. Hell some gods are doing it not for the power but because they think they are helping.

Massive war against robots which lead to quite a big destruction of technology overall. Followed by massive warpstorms. Due to destroying so much technology, mot planets ceased to be self sufficient and the emergence of warp storms ensured that they couldn't even trade between each other for things they needed. Que destruction of civilisation and what not.

But things would be ten times more shitier for the humans if he wasn't around. At least they can hold back the xenos and heretics with him around. But without the high governing body the emperor is in, humans would be fighting each other as well, not just heretics.

Reading up on fluff, you can see that noble houses will fight each other for land, among other things. But I'm talking about entire sectors become their own "nation". It would be no better off then today. The one thing the emperor brought was unification, no matter how loose it is.
so yea i have retribution now, anybody want to play campaign with me?

OH MY GOD THIS GAME
[editline]16th October 2011[/editline]
I had practically 2.3k hp, was unkillable, then my teammate alt-tabbed and he couldn't get back in, so we had to quit.
BUT THIS WAS SO FUN AND FUNNY
In my opinion it would rape the fluff less if there were 2 "factions" of necrons, the normal bringers of death and c'tan's bitches and a faction who just kills for their own and giving the c'tan the finger. (kinda like the geth in Mass Effect but both killing everyone anyway).
didn't some kind of standalone 40k last stand game come out some time ago? i recall some kind of standalone game where it was only last stand.
didn't some kind of standalone 40k last stand game come out some time ago? i recall some kind of standalone game where it was only last stand.
The Last Standalone. All it is is TLS for less than retribution's actual cost. Not really worth it.

can you even play with people playing on retribution?
Yep, Renegade Chapters. Soul Drinkers are (but they're mostly mutants. But they're not chaos Marines. No Sirree.) Astral Claws are as well I think. And the Alpha Legion. Cough.
If the Alpha Legion even existed we all know they're trolling Chaos to save the Imperium.
can you even play with people playing on retribution?
Yes that's kind of the point of it I guess?
I Just realized something:
-Main Games Workshop (where all the magic happens) is in Nottingham.
-Matt Ward is in Nottingham.
-I AM IN NOTTINGHAM.
Therefore my duty is to assassinate the guy. Or just beat him senseless.
You choose which.
[sp]EXTRA CHOICE: Choose which Assassin style I should Emulate[/sp]

Eversor assassin.
In the grim darkness of the future, there is only Matt Ward.

First thought would be Culexus. It can't be that hard to melt his brain since it's apparently made of jello-pops.

Screw that, emulate creed and infiltrate the entire British army with a primed nuke.
Into his underwear.
[sp]i don't really know where i was going with that [/sp]
Just tried last stand in retribution.
Some guy didn't know what he was doing at all. Maybe it was a bad idea to buy the THQ pack on a free weekend. Another guy had such a bad connection the game was going in slow motion. :v:
WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! is the only way.
