When I was playing Space Marine I found it odd that the Bloodravens just happened to be at the area at the end with no mention of it beforehand. I chalked it up to THQ's love of the damn chapter. Then I realized something, they weren't in the area, they must have rushed over if you had no idea they were there or even incoming by the time you dropped! They were here for a reason! The damn Magpies were here to take all those Jetpacks, Powerswords, Chainswords, Poweraxes, and Powerhammers you've been tossing about!

I'm not sure if you could use a Lord of Change as a daemon prince, but you could try asking somewhere else or looking in your Chaos codex if you have one.

I asked someone and he said it depended on the place you are playing. GW stores dont allow count-as apparently. I can go with a normal DP anyway, as they a slightly cheaper. I just like the look of the Lord more.
I wish they would add a necron lord or something together with the Tau Commander, for last stand in Retribution.

Depends on the store (well, rather the staff in it and the players) my local allowscounts as as long as it's 1. a GW Model or parts of one and 2. as long as you're reasonable with it.
