Oh wow, i really laughed at that "IT IS THE BANEBLADE"
Thanks you two. It's just that i noticed that with GKTs, people used a basecoat of chaos black, so i thought it'd be good if i did the same. However, what do you mean by skill, would it be hard to magnetize the weapons on the land raider? There are just about 5 weapon choices, heavy bolters, twin linked meltas and some kind of rocket on top of the land raider. Regarding the tank commander head, would it be acceptable to use the average techmarine head included in the sprues, or would that sort of be lore-breaking for Grey Knighhts to have a techmarine drive their land raider? However, what does a wysiwyg situation mean?
http://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/Magnetising_Vehicles Black is a good basecoat for GK's, yes. WYSIWYG = What You See Is What You Get, IE you can't use a tank commander on a tank unless it has the model attached to it. Just like you can't claim those twin-linked meltas are twin-linked plasmas. The techmarine thing would be somewhat lore-breaking, but 99% of people you play against would just shrug it off as a minor conversion.

Also, thanks for explaining what wysiwyg meant, but does the tank commander cost any points or give the vehicle some extra bonuses is what i'm wondering?
I don't know, I haven't read the GK codex apart from the fluff parts. There's a special character tank commander for normal spess mehreens though. And who gives a shit how you paint your GKs, as long as they look good?
its not necessarily the Emperor himself,i think hes cool, but its just the empirium,as a guardsman you will probably die,you are treated unimportant and expendable, plus you shall auto-draft the second your old enough
No the emperor is a huge dick, he's in no way a cool dude.
I mean fuck, when Magnus tried to warn the Emperor about shit going down (admittedly he did accidentally fuck up the emperors project) did he haul him in and tell him off? No, he send the fucking wolves to Annihilate Magnus and the Thousand Sons (sure, you could argue that he only told russ to bring magnus back, but he knew them well enough to know that the only result would be murder.)
To be fair though, for all the emperor knew it could've just been the chaos gods trying to mess with him and it could've just as easily been Magnus who was the one who tried to betray the emperor. Plus, using illegal sorcery and fucking up the emperors things, and telling bad things about his most beloved primarch. I really don't see it as a douche move, rash, perhaps, but who knows, Magnus could've fallen to chaos, and he wanted to make sure the taint didn't spread.
He also let Lorgar build up a cult of worship around the Emperor, for centuries mind, then all of a sudden, no warning or nothing, turns round and orders the Ultramarines to kill every fucking person on the planet.
Same thing as above, at first he didn't think of it, but then realised that it could cause much greater harm than it could benefit him?
With all this Necrons reverting to 2nd ed versions, imagine if the Squats came back [sp]With horrible fluff and broken as hell[/sp]
They're already back look up the Demiurg
With all this Necrons reverting to 2nd ed versions, imagine if the Squats came back [sp]With horrible fluff and broken as hell[/sp]
If Matt Ward is the one writing the fluff (ofcourse it's going to be Matt Ward writing the fluff), it's going to turn out that the squats co-worked with the tyranids against their common enemy, the orks (who joined forces with space marines to fight the tyranids), after much grim fighting they all realize that their fighting is wrong, and find yet another common enemy : the gods of chaos!!!. They then use their combined knowledge to fight chaos, but it's all a big, big misunderstanding and then they have to sacrifice the sisters of battle (because heh fuck sisters of battle) because they crave to become something more than just nuns in space, but we can't have that (feminism is overrated according to Matt ward) so yeah, every race and entity in the world of warhammer 40k join up and fight the sisters of battle. Obviously, the sisters of battle get torn to shreds and cause no damage whatsoever, and their blood is used in unholy rituals by the space marines to summon the emperor who then decides to unite the universe (again) but this time, everyone is welcome to join the imperium!

DoW II and CR share the number one spot for me. Retribution has been really meh so far apart from hilarious jump pack spam in SP as spess mehreens. Tarkus w/ upgraded jump pack abilities is like a nuke against low-tier enemies.
Space Marines only know one phrase: Jump Pack

When they will bring that DLC Last stand for Space Marine?
and the whole [sp]Davian Thule as[/sp] Dreadnought idea was great.
He was like that in DoW II too Maybe you should have played the games in order

So, what race is up next for ruining by Ward?
So, what race is up next for ruining by Ward?
Not sure, who else might stand to get interesting fluff? This Necron update has changed my opinion of Ward.

Didn't understand any of that really. What does that have to do with W40K? Other than the last part.
The player characters are the primarchs
Didn't understand any of that really. What does that have to do with W40K? Other than the last part.
Go back and read the descriptions of their characters. Think about who else shares the traits of the characters. EDIT:
The player characters are the primarchs
Dammit, Zezi, I wanted people to think!
thinking is so 967M36
Will anyone here buy the Tau commander if they offer the DLC for a reasonable price? [editline]18th October 2011[/editline] my merge
I might. The dev diary for the Tau Commander shows him 1 shotting Zoanthropes and 2 shotting carnifexs ontop of the achievement already in game for killing all 3 clones in 1 second. This leaves me to believe his dps will be fuckin huge.
Well the Lord General can already oneshot Zoans so that's no biggie
