I might. The dev diary for the Tau Commander shows him 1 shotting Zoanthropes and 2 shotting carnifexs ontop of the achievement already in game for killing all 3 clones in 1 second. This leaves me to believe his dps will be fuckin huge.
Oh it's obvious that they are just making the character from Firewarrior into the game then. =)

This is really well-made, I had no idea it would be about the primarchs until that storm was included.
Will anyone here buy the Tau commander if they offer the DLC for a reasonable price?
It might be a free DLC, though, regardless of the price, i'll probably buy it, unless it's over 7.5$.
I've always wanted to paint some Flayed Ones and since they're ruining them near halloween and i ran into a spare 15 quid this week i decided to buy some before they become shit. I'll post pictures of them when they arrive/i paint them.

Even though i'm an Ork player.
I don't know, I haven't read the GK codex apart from the fluff parts. There's a special character tank commander for normal spess mehreens though. And who gives a shit how you paint your GKs, as long as they look good?
Yeah, Sergeant Chronus is that special tank commander character.
Anyway, i haven't really gotten any criticism on my GKT models so far so i don't really know if anybody thinks they're painted well/look good or not.
I hope these Flayed Ones i ordered are one peice and not 70 different metal peices.
Necrons & Blood Angels Bro's for life....is all i have to say. As well as Codex Ultramarines. Grey Knight Ridiculousness.
I still don't see the issue everyone had with that. It's something that has happened in fluff countless of times. And was essentially
Marines and Necrons are embroiled in a fight, heavy losses on both sides
New enemy shows up (tyranids), but get moped up being alone, but together stand a chance, they semi coordinate together
They win
After fight is over, but consider their options
Option a) Return to fight each other (in the marines case, not something they'd be willing to do after sharing a common enemy, at least for now. In the case of both, severely depleted forces which would at best lead to a pyrrhic victory
option b) part in order to fight another day.

Of all the forces to join up, Necrons and Marines are one of the more, unlikliest of ever to happen.
Necrons wouldn't care and Marines are too Xenophobic to do so.
My god, ladies and gentlemen, it appears we have a Ward supporter here!
What next, you reccommend C.S. Goto as prime reading material?

I consider the GK changes to be just daft, same goes with the spiritual liege crud. But you say it yourself. It's unlikely, not impossible.
The commander of the marines might just have had more than two braincells to know that forcing the fight forward would just lead to unnecessary losses amongst his forces and the necron lord in question the same.
But sides aren't tyranids. They think and plan.

I kind of see where you're getting at, but would the Necrons even be capable of listening to the orders of a Necron Lord?
Or does a Necron Lord practically control any Necron near him?
Who is the ninja one?
Corax?
Leader of the Blood Angels was obviously Captain Boreale who had been planted as a spy by the Blood Ravens in the pursuit of Relics.

Just daft? It's more than just daft its an entire abomination.
Necrons wouldn't really care, any damages, they get recalled, repaired and sent back out. The whole point of the self repairing, soulless automota is that they just don't care, at all, they fight, they kill, they carry on.
Fight side by side? Maybe, at a stretch, but to then go on and mutually leave each other alone, is ridiculous, at least when the necrons "helped" the Tau, they then turned around and killed them.

Considering we know that a lot of necrons were damaged in the long sleep and that there are potentially other issues as far as damage is done, the recall and repair might not be as simple and might have deeper implications.
What if every repair leaves a necron mind more damaged than before, what if they can never be completely and fully repaired. Likewise there's potentially some damage they just can't be repaired from no matter what you try to repair them with.

Isn't that why Tomb Spyders exist?

It does, except, the Necrontyr mind imprisoned within a Necron doesn't control it, it just powers it. basically they're forced to watch as their "body" slaughters and kills.

I don't know but it made me think the Ultramarines have a very slight Egyptian theme.
