While I personally like the new necrons, here's the cover art. In before rage about "necrons aren't tomb kings!!!1"
I don't know but it made me think the Ultramarines have a very slight Egyptian theme.
Roman
That's THat's That's not bad. Just not necrony. Get back to WHFB, Ward, you Fagghet.
In an age of projectile weapons that are essentially miniature grenades, lasers, and psychic death beams, LETS ALL CARRY METAL SHIELDS! Seriously.
Get back to WHFB, Ward
Daemons of Chaos
METAL BOXES(OF CHICKEN)! This guy just cranks art out.
McAbaddon's.
In an age of projectile weapons that are essentially miniature grenades, lasers, and psychic death beams, LETS ALL CARRY METAL SHIELDS! Seriously.
Space Marines use shields too. So do Chaos. In fact, lots of the armies in 40k have shields. It's not a new thing.

Space Marines can die , necrons can not So why do they wear shields.. They can repair themselves in no time
METAL BOXES(OF CHICKEN)! This guy just cranks art out.
Its exactly like Burger King vs. McDonalds. They're the same stuff but one has HERESY.

The >applying logic was sarcasm, half the things in 40k have no logical sense.
In an age of projectile weapons that are essentially miniature grenades, lasers, and psychic death beams, LETS ALL CARRY METAL SHIELDS! Seriously.
Metal shields with Power/Disruption field technology built in. Termies carry Storm Shields and those are the size of a wrist guard, BUT THEY PROJECT A SHIELD SHAPED POWER FIELD THAT STOPS ANYTHING BAR A TANK SHELL. NOW LOOK TO YOUR CC TERMIE WITH AWE AND PRIDE AS HIS SHIELD LITERALLY SPLITS THE HERECTICS FACE ATOMS APART.
Well what i'm saying is, i'd like to have the model as bright-silver, but 27X is practically saying that it wouldn't be good for a GK model, i think. Also, thanks for explaining what wysiwyg meant, but does the tank commander cost any points or give the vehicle some extra bonuses is what i'm wondering?
I'm saying that's my OPINION, not what you should do. As for the tank commander, it depends on the game flavor and edition. Again it would be helpful in that you have him or not pretty much all the time.
Will anyone here buy the Tau commander if they offer the DLC for a reasonable price? [editline]18th October 2011[/editline] my merge
Done. [editline]18th October 2011[/editline]
It might be a free DLC, though, regardless of the price, i'll probably buy it, unless it's over 7.5$.
9.99 [editline]18th October 2011[/editline]
I still don't see the issue everyone had with that. It's something that has happened in fluff countless of times. And was essentially Marines and Necrons are embroiled in a fight, heavy losses on both sides New enemy shows up (tyranids), but get moped up being alone, but together stand a chance, they semi coordinate together They win After fight is over, but consider their options Option a) Return to fight each other (in the marines case, not something they'd be willing to do after sharing a common enemy, at least for now. In the case of both, severely depleted forces which would at best lead to a pyrrhic victory option b) part in order to fight another day.
The issue is the race, not the event. Also Pyrrhic victory = victory in 40K .
It does, except, the Necrontyr mind imprisoned within a Necron doesn't control it, it just powers it. basically they're forced to watch as their "body" slaughters and kills.
I don't recall this fluff anywhere. As far as I know the necrons that still are unique individuals relish in doing what they do. As to the tau necron slaughter. Keep in mind that the necron there were in full force and were not wasted from a previous fight.
In an age of projectile weapons that are essentially miniature grenades, lasers, and psychic death beams, LETS ALL CARRY METAL SHIELDS! Seriously.
Take a look at arbite combat squads :) Certain marine boarding specialits and probably a bunch of others.
Alright. So I found someone who plays 40k in my school, he plays Orks. And he said he's going to rape me with his mass amount of Boyz. I have an Imperial Guard battleforce, and a Chimera. Which weapons shall I equip my troops with? Since he is going to have a bunch of infantry, I was thinking a lot of template weapons (grenade launchers, maybe a plasma cannon on my sentinel) Is this a good idea?
