There are other types of Exterminatus, like Nuclear Bombardment, or this Biological thing that turns people into goo.
I'm pretty sure that's all included in an Exterminatus, Biological bombs, Nukes, Lasers.... And then they blow the planet up with a final blow to the core.
Biological thing that turns people into goo.
The Virus is pretty much forbidden to use, since it feed Nurgle like no tomorrow. Also, imagine a Daemon World that is run by a "child". From seemingly innocent shell to the blasphemous hellscapes and innards. For some reason, the idea of Daemon World is a rather interesting one. Especially with the idea of one created by a corrupted and broken mind of a child. I remember sup/tg/ having a thread on that, moving from a Chaos IG thread to a story of Stormtroopers assault a palace of Daemon Prince.
The Virus is pretty much forbidden to use, since it feed Nurgle like no tomorrow.
No it isn't, it's just been mostly superceded by the Cyclonic Torpedo. Cyclonic Torped = Cracks planets apart Virus Bomb = virus decomposes all living matter on a planet, which is then ignited to scour the planet clean. Atmospheric Incinerator Torpedo= Same effect as Virus Bomb but without the virus, instead igniting all the oxygen on the planet. It's also Space Marines that do Exterminatus, that one shown in DOW Retribution is more of an Planetary wide Orbital Bombardment
Also the planet can be terraformed again after an virus bomb exterminatus.
Also the planet can be terraformed again after an virus bomb exterminatus.
Well, not really terraformed, as the planet is nothing more than a dead rock with zero atmosphere, but it does allow the planet to be kept whole to be made into facilities or even just to expedite mining operations and such.
Also the planet can be terraformed again after an virus bomb exterminatus.
Well, not as much of terraformed, but survived one, certainly. Tallarn makes a great example. And then Mitchell made Tallarn generic Emperor Botherers, despite them being bros with Eldar when they fought off chaos.
Well, not really terraformed, as the planet is nothing more than a dead rock with zero atmosphere, but it does allow the planet to be kept whole to be made into facilities or even just to expedite mining operations and such.
Ye, if the planet is rich in resources the adeptus mechanicus may mine them
Amass Psykers, they all scream it in unison :v:
The amount of Psykers you can have in Dark Crusade is limited to three Psykers, so you can't really amass Psykers. :c I can imagine what would happen if there was no Psyker limit and that your enemies would all be using headphones. :v: [editline]21st October 2011[/editline]
Well, not as much of terraformed, but survived one, certainly. Relic is so nice, Always including PC in their games, never skiping video settings and now free exterminatus DLC, Take all of my money even if it is free Relic.

In Atlas Infernal it takes a nice look at daemon pirate worlds in the eye of terror selling all kinds of forbidden artifacts to all kinds of traders or buyers, you'd see Eldar rangers among cultists or mercenaries etc. Atlas Infernal gives a good look into the more pirate life style of 40k.

The experimental rules for the land raider proteus look good, its a scouting land raider that has the ability to make your opponent have -1 to his reserve rolls or give you the ability to reroll yours (for fails or successes) and melta guns do not get their D6 special rule against its armour while it can fire all its weapons and still go at its maximum distance and can also shoot at multiple targets if desired. They're basically pre heresy land raiders, based on the rogue trader land raider. http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/downloads/product/pdf/p/Proteus.pdf [editline]22nd October 2011[/editline] If the Imperial Guard still used Land Raiders, Creed would be eating his fucking heart out. [editline]22nd October 2011[/editline] I wonder what would happen if he could scout an already scouting tank, does that mean he can makes it appear to not even exist and puts the enemy in denial that there is a land raider in the bushes killing then? Kind of like the Silence in Doctor Who.
You can scout a land raider inside a baneblade's ammobox ASSAULT CANNONS LOADED WITH LAND RAIDERS.

I just got the Death Korps of Krieg pack, but for some reason the Stormtroopers still appear as the Cadian versions(As so do the Catachans) Are they supposed to have new models as well?
So I painted a base on my first miniature today. Tiny bit awkward metal/plastic miniature so I'm painting before most parts individually before assembly. Dammit does it take awhile.

Stormtrooper training is more or less oversene by Inquisition.
Are Thousand Sons Daemons Princes/Terminators/Chaos Lords/Dreadnoughts/Havocs logical? I know Obliterators are out of the question for remaining fluffy, as their skin is molded onto the armor and the TS are made of dust. If I wanted to remain fluffy, what legion should I paint said, non-fluffy units as? Black Legion?
Does FP have its own SPEHS MEHRINE chapter?
Just finished reading Love and Krieg. I have to say, I actually enjoyed it more than I should have. While /tg/ is full of socially retarded mongoloids I do enjoy reading some of the short stories it spits out.
Short synopsis and link?
A guy writes about dating a girl in the Death Korps of Krieg. It's really lighthearted and quite funny in spots. http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Love_and_Krieg
I'll pass. Thanks for responding though.
