I don't get it, I put media tags on but it didn't work :/
You know nothing of my rage.
Hunkered in cover as the Lord General, my shotgun is picking off a few of the Warriors approaching. Suddenly, my Tau ally spawns a shield drone. Fantastic, ranged protection! Oh god no it's moving!
Oh god oh no of shit
FUCK. It moves through and destroys my cover. Then it sods off to the corner of the map with nobody in it.
:v:
I like how the drones are treated as tanks or something instead of something floaty like Autarch.

People try to transpose WHF to WH40K and instantly assume necrons are tomb kings.
Now I don't know much about WHF but i know The tomb kings are skeletons, that pretty much where people get mixed up.
But i do know that tomb kings are less "KILL ALL THE LIVING THINGS" and more "We just wanna chill alone in our cities man! Leave us be!" From what I've heard not only will they communicate with other people, they also allow other into their tomb/city/place where they live... sometimes.
My opinion is that Necrons are the 40K version of generic undead. You've got your zombies/skeletons (Ordinary necrons) You've got your wraiths (Hurr) and The necron lord is very similar to a litch. He is immortal, has powers of resurrection and various other dark arts and he wears a black cape.
Yes there are actual zombies in the form of people afflicted by one of the myriad of nurgles diseases, but i was more thinking along the lines of the "organized undead" that is seen in many works of fantasy. Where they live in massive necropolis' undergound (or above ground) and they wish to spread their dominion mostly because they can (Warcraft undead springs to mind)
TL;DR I think necrons are more like generic undead than WHF Tomb kings.

Comparing Necrons to Tomb Kings isn't too illogical after seeing their new models and lore, but the Necrons will never be properly comparable to Tomb Kings, it's sort of like comparing a brick to a person.
Here's a picture of one of my more 'done' Tyranids. I've been putting this off too long, the picture was taken yesterday.
I've been using a lot of different colour schemes for each of my Tyranids, seeing which one I like best and which is easier to accomplish. I don't like this one because it's too dark, but that's just me.

I agree, it needs a brighter colour as contrast. I like look of dark flesh / bright plates, you could try some of that.

Space marine did only have 5 maps and they've taken over a month to release DLC that adds nothing but AI spawn points. Can't wait to rank up my character without having to step in shit.
Effort.
Considering how ridiculously OP the Shas' O is, it's pretty much a non issue.
....For Tau.

They really could had put more effort into Space Marine, but at least we actually get a DLC for Space Marine, a free one.
I just realized Space Marine had an extremely forgettable soundtrack
I can't recall a single song from the soundtrack, while especially the DoW II (& expansions) OST was amazing
Exterminatus is out tomorrow, anybody here who's up for playing with me and Joxalot?

I agree.
Actually, i can't recall any Space Marine soundtrack apart from the menu theme.

Nah. The new Necrons are more or less a facelift of the Tomb Kings, who're surprisingly enough, very different from the Vampire Counts army which is bristling with Zombies, Wights, Wraiths, Banshees and Skeletons.
Luckily enough, this works in the Necrons favour, because the Tomb Kings are fucking cool.
Also, just beat Wave 20 on Bloodied Colosseum. Fuck yeah.

I love the winter assault theme

For me personally, the DoW2 Eldar Encounter soundtrack has the greatest recognition value (but perhaps only because they are my fav race)

Angels of Death and For The Craftworld are my favorites on the OST
I find it kinda funny that spess mehreens get a male chorus and eldar get a female one

Wait, I meant Meridian Nights
All other songs are shit compared to it

A male chorus fits the spess mehreens perfect (like a rl monk chorus)

Maybe their next step will be listening to their forum. A dedicated server thread has like several thousand posts asking for it and it's been months since it started.

That would be awesome.
What the game really needs is dedicated servers, i mean seriously, i've been to so many laggy servers, the game starts to become boring because of the amount of laggy servers.
Then if they get Space Marine some dedicated servers, they could then add modding tools, Space Marine needs that too.
