Oh yes. Even driving through a hive city in a truck with a hostage Dark Eldar while coffe beans fly everywhere is possible in Dark Heresy.
Alright, another poll: Rate agree of you think Dawn of War is better and Disagree if you think Starcraft is better. Optimistic if you think they're equal and Late if you've never played one or the other.
Are we talking DoW or DoW2? And are we talking Starcraft or Starcraft 2?
Actually, the only answer is Starcraft either way :v:
oh,so uhm how does dark heresy work? is it fun?
Dark Heresy works just like any other Pen&Paper roleplaying game, except that it's set in the GRIMDARK world of GRIMDARK warhammer 40k
Did I mention it's GRIMDARK?
No but really, it's just like D&D (or any other roleplaying game) out there, the biggest change is obviously the setting. =)

Starcraft better than DoW1?
Pff, nah.
DoW 1 has probably the worst pathfinding I've ever seen in any game, granted Starcraft has shitty too, but at least it runs in the direction you want it to ; In DoW, you'd have to guide every unit as if it was a five-year old retarded kid.

I like the way SC2 plays more than DoW but I like the 40k setting more.

Though, aren't you guys going a bit overboard in Dark Heresy?
I mean, seriously, the stuff that i hear is starting to sound silly, not even close to grimdark. :v:
Speaking of silly, I've done a 'playthrough' for the next update on the CYOA, but every time, the character dies.
What do, what do? I could spend a hard fate point to keep us alive, but I'm not sure if it's possible to survive a big fucking wall crashing down on you :v:
DimJim posted this in LMAO pics. :v:

I was in charge of the coffee machine. I had to get less than 64 to activate it to make a coffee for the Inquisitor with my electrical powers. I rolled a 100. It blew up. Guess who was sitting next to me?
[sp]The driver[/sp]
I want to play some Exterminatus add me on steam, Also microphones, Please.

Star Craft > Dawn of War > Star Craft 2 > Dawn of War 2

Someone's fetish.
That's the explanation to any picture you'll ever see.
Are Vox-Casters worth the points? Or are Leadership tests not that important?
Are Vox-Casters worth the points? Or are Leadership tests not that important?
I think Leadership tests/rolls are fairly important, but you could get a Commissar if you're worried about Leadership tests/rolls, unless Commissars cost more points than a Vox-Caster?

Commissars costs more, but commissars are also really awesome so you should have a commissar in every infantry unit.
It's all about the fluff!

To be honest i'd never have a commissar in an IG army unless it was a DKoK commissar, that is, if i had a DKoK army.
Anyway, Commissars are much more efficient when it comes to Leadership rolls and you could get one if you wanted, aliendrone.
If I ever get one (I'm actually thinking about just buying some ww2 units, those that are used in Flames Of War) I'll have a commissar in each and every unit.

I'm trying I really am! Currently Maximos character is dead, and Gezas Tech Priest is all but a husk of irradiated meat. Also, Geza killed Maximo, as well as destroying the mission objective, by dropping a grenade on him.

I thought when Maximo's character died he became Sergeant Ramirez?
Star Craft > Dawn of War > Star Craft 2 > Dawn of War 2
I've never actually played StarCraft, but why is it better than Dawn of War?
I noticed that it's the ''make one unit at a time, not a whole squad'' system, which i personally don't really like.
I thought when Maximo's character died he became Sergeant Ramirez?
He's being introduced in the next session. But for now, Nihilus Mortus lies a charred corpse, a fine coating of frost coating his cool flesh in Settlement 228. Along with the Mission Objective, torn asunder by a fragmentation grenade.
I want my 2,000 point Tau army to consist entirely of Ethereals.

Will Géza's Tech Priest ever fully recover?
