Elbows on tables, palms together pretty much makes shaking nonexistant.
My pose is pretty bad, forearms braced against table edge, chair as low as possible. Gets the job done, but my back hurts a bit after a while. My eyes could be better so I have a bit of difficulty painting with the model more than 30cm away from me.
If they made Crisis Suits troops it would also mean more money for GW, as people would buy more of them.
If they made Crisis Suits troops it would also mean more money for GW, as people would buy more of them.
That's true of everything they do, most people don't even include it as a justification anymore.
Because that's 5Es Gimmick, pretty much every army has some special character or other that allows you to take an Elite Choice as Troops. Dark Eldar can take Haemonculi to allow Wracks (Elites) to be taken as Troops. Dark Angels can take the master of the Deathwing to allow Terminators as Troops. Tyranid can takes Warriors as troops as default. I forget the other armies, but I honestly wouldn't object to seeing Crisis Suits as Troop Units. They're versatile, they should be fairly tough, and they're not exactly rare.
Eldar can take Wraithguard as a troops choice. Granted, you need a full squad of them lead by a spiritseer.
Eldar can take Wraithguard as a troops choice. Granted, you need a full squad of them lead by a spiritseer.
And that way you have to slog them across the board. With their range 12" guns.
And that way you have to slog them across the board. With their range 12" guns.
Just like every Eldar gun! Said gun is however, a terminator killer without peer.
Just like every Eldar gun! Really, all Wraithguard have going for them is T6. Their shooting is good, but at 12" you're at risk of getting charged, and even a power fist will ruin your day.
I never got how people think that terminators are fragile. Fucking 2+ saves and 5+ inv saves doesn't mean fragile. Yes, you're going to be shot, but even then, that's a lot of saves passed. The only stat they lack is wounds, but with those saves...

I believe their guns are also Assault 2, but don't quote me. [editline]12th November 2011[/editline] Running Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay for my group, it's Gehamnisnacht and the group have been tasked to "dispose" of a "bundle of rags", containing a newborn baby. The innocent babe has no crime to his name, save for an eyeball on the tip of his right, middle toe. Time to see how the players handle infanticide. EDIT The Thief, the babies Saviour has noticed something. In place of 5 normal toes, the young boy has 5 toes, the largest of which has a blinking eye inplace of a toenail. He's riding into the woods at the moment, we'll see what he does now that the taint is clear. EDIT The Thief has left the babe nestled twixt the roots of a tree. He lacks the stomach and moral conviction to kill the babe and instead leaves it to the mercy of the woods.

Whether it be a mass amount of saves from flamers or 200 points of guardsmen, to meltagun, dark lances and what not. They are tough, but everyone likes to shoot them for some reason even when they are not as equally as powerful as a 200 point Vanguard squad. [editline]13th November 2011[/editline] They are awesome, but they lack proper hitting power that chaos terminators, grey knight terminators and assault terminators possess for their amount of points.
Anyone up for vassal 40k? [editline]13th November 2011[/editline] nvm
Exterminatus soon, fellow Guardsman!
I'd be up to play Vassal Oblivious1 :frown:
Avatar fits

Pretty much banks on cleaning up in the first fight so I don't starve to death.
I remember Necromunda, my gangleader; Sergeant Tasche had a powerfist and was S4 or something silly. I remember quitting after I lost 3 of my gang members to lasgun shots while every man Tasche hit with a Powerfist rolled well on the Injury charts and were back in the fight next game with no discernible penalty. :argh:

Still It's one of the reasons I love Necromunda, lots of intelligent fighting followed by luck rolls.
CG requires less human resources (and money) than voice acting. Which is a shame, since I often see one person making amazing CG things like this, but simply not having good voice actors.
In the industry CG at a professional level is one of the most expensive things out there, it's often what adds of millions upon millions of dollars to a production mostly due to how time consuming it is and the resources required to do it. Meanwhile, provided you have decent sound equipment, you could probably hire some semi professional voice actors for like £5 an hour. :v: That is, unless semi-pro voice actors charge more than other semi-pro actors.

Hell you would take on a guy who had a melta gun and power fist so long as you could penetrate his armour and get one really good roll. My psyker was using hammerhands and burning fist which put his base damage at 2d10+24 not counting as primative and carried a chance to set them on fire. However the combat servitor parried and returned the gesture with a powerfist. The servitors parry threshold was low but GM rolled a 2 so...
Thank you GW store, for enlightening me about the rules of Warhammer 40,000. I was previously unaware that a power klaw inflicts instant death on the first wound, regardless of the number of wounds the opponent has. I was also unaware that Chaplains have to roll 5+ to hit a Warboss, and can't re-roll hits. Oh, and how could I forget 5+ invulnerable saves on Death Kopptas thanks to the smoke coming out of them. I realize now that you are in no way trying to squeeze money from these free games, where tactics, clever thinking and innovative decisions are totally allowed.

[editline]13th November 2011[/editline] No it's not just bolded parts. Most of it is bullshit.

Deff koptas have no invulnerable saves, and certainly don't get any for whatever crap. Chaplains hit warbosses on a 4+, and they can re-roll to hit on the turn they assault. Power klaws only inflicted instant death on certain targets, and it's not because of its own special rules, but simply because it grants double strength. Instant death happens because the attacker's strength is double your toughness or more [editline]13th November 2011[/editline] BROKE AUTOMERGE! You sure it's a GW store?
