Ebay and Assault on black reach are your friends.
Have you got a source for them saying it is canon though? I've read alot of people say BL is mostly non-canon. It most likely is how you say but seeing some proof of GW saying it is canon would be nice.
If you wanna dig through relicnews or DoW2comm.com be my guest, it was stated by Chambers and repeated by Lydell and Tasker.

Could be worse. You could lose all self control inside a Games Workshop...

Amazon and the War Store sell them cheaper. And yet, despite their insanely high prices, I still buy them since I absolutely love the universe and the hobby.

titans
everywhere
titans
everywhere
If I walk into a Games Workshop and see a titan that I can buy, I will walk out with a titan as long as its unpainted..

Next Ultramarines codex will feature a rule allowing you to field titans as a basic troop choice.
Facing titans? Take that Necron HQ that can commandeer enemy vehicles.

+ lots of scarabs, titans love 'em
I'll leave this here for you all.

Damn, imagine scarabs VS. Titans in apocalypse. They can get under the void shields and take it's AV down to nothing as quickly as a land raider, therefore instakilling it regardless of structure points. They would probably all die first, but if you actully managed to get them into assault, they could kill ten times their own value.

When somebody does one of those as an airsoft lasgun, it's happening I'm telling you.
It's pretty nice though.

Thankfully (in your case) Games Workshop stores don't actually sell Titans. Especially since the cheapest one (Revenant) is like £182

It all makes sense now

The lasgun's bulky and blocky as hell, surely it shouldn't be that hard to make one out of MDF or foam and fit it round an existing airsoft gun.

All attempts to do so have turned out terrible, due to the ergonomics of a standard lasgun being pretty poor.
You could build one around a standard mechbox with some sort of custom mag though.
I'm going to take a month away from working once I get my redundancy pay, so I might just have a try at making one.

Is scratchbuilding an airsoft firing assembly impossible? I know very little about these things.

The mechanical parts can be bought seperately, the main problems are the way the gearbox is laid out.
You can see from this picture
That the trigger and the air nozzle are a certain distance apart, where as on the lasgun the distance is comprimised by the fact that the hopup/ feed (Where the bb's are positioned before the nozzle) would have to be pretty far forward.

It is possible though, just takes quite a bit of messing.
they're not that good but it's cool they shoot
It seems like all White Dwarf does anymore is make Fantasy battle reports and LOTR tactica, as up until the newcrons it was 6-7 issues of nothing but Warhammer. This week its a LOTR BP and 2 Warhammer BP's. All 40k gets is a pointless campaign layout (written by Matt Ward, where the Necrons canonically slaughter the Black Templars.) Oh, and Marshall Helbrecht gets his hand cut off. Its a pathetic excuse for content and even worse as a means of including 40k somewhere in the issue.

Yeah, I remember them being full of content, painting Masterclasses, interviews, chapter approved, tonnes of stuff, now it's just battle reports and the occasional in-depth look at some new sprues, which while nice, don;'t make up for it.
Maybe the Necrons asked the Black Templars nicely to enter their "interrogation" chamber. Worked for the Black templar on the ultramarines.

The Skullraider is equal parts hilarious and awesome. The sheer amount of work that must have gone into it, though...
Got my table set up and dug out my WH40k stuff, finally I'll be able to start assembling and painting again.
On that note - are the vehicle design rules still allowed?
Just wondering if I could theorycraft a SOB melta predator based MBT

What do you mean thankfully? That's bad news not good news.
The bad news is in the same post, it's called an obscene price tag.
I'm currently reading Fulgrim in the HH series, and a little bit after the Iron Hands are introduced, I realized [sp]how spoilerish the cover of the book is[/sp]
ALL OF MY RAGE

Tho halfway through the book you kinda guess what's going to happen so it's not that bad.
