It seems to me that a Blackstone fortress is more trouble than it's worth. If you find one, all your enemies will go out of their way to destroy it.
Blackstones could have never been used on significant targets anyway, since no plot progression.
Blackstones could have never been used on significant targets anyway, since no plot progression.
But significant targets are attacked all the time, Ultramar's been attacked by both Tyranid and Chaos more than once with Chaos killing a planet and forcing another's population underground after poisoning a star.
Apart from the cost in lives and money of planets and populaces being destroyed and the blackstones being the ultimate fuck you weapon to have been made.
People die, tithes are well spent, and useless Blackstone Fortresses are leftover. Also, I was mainly referencing the way those lines were written.
A blackstone seems to me the weapon you use after you've just been fucked over. A vengeance weapon so to speak.
White Dwarf team are at my local GW today, might go check it out.
Ultramar, home of the Ultramarines. Is it named after them, is it just a big coincidence or were they just not creative at GW?
Or, you know, the Ultramarines could be named after the planet they come from...
(Or the colour of their armour :v:)
Guilliman was raised on Ultramar, and named his legion when he received it the Ultramarines. He probably chose the color based on that too.
I think my cat may be trying to get high off of my glue. Every time I start putting together my Eldar force she comes over and sits near where I leave the glue.
I think my cat may be trying to get high off of my glue. Every time I start putting together my Eldar force she comes over and sits near where I leave the glue.
That's not too bad. Be glad that your cat at least didn't piss in your land raider box.
That's not too bad. Be glad that your cat at least didn't piss in your land raider box.
Poor machine-spirit
The big E is alot like malal
That feel when a player commits political suicide. That feel when nobody takes anything seriously.
That feel when a player commits political suicide. That feel when nobody takes anything seriously.
That feel when Guyon murders us all.
That feel when I'm trying to take things seriously and ALSO get what is happening while everyone else is like "Uuuh what".
The big E is alot like malal
Y'know what else the Big-E is like? HERESYHERESYHERESYHERESY Though I guess that it's just as planned I call heresy Oh wait shit now I'm gonna get blammed
I just used greenstuff for first time. Made a pair of tusks, a wrist and a hive for... stuff on my dreadie.
I got some questions about chaplains : Do they have to have that skull helmet of theirs? If yes, is it possible to custom-make it by carving a regular space marine helmet?
Can't wait for my IG Battleforce to arrive from the UK. Instead of paying $132 (If I were to buy it in Sweden) I pay $85, and that is with shipping! As soon as I get my order I will be sure to recommend the place I got it from to all Swedish Warhammer players.
