That wasn't a space marine HUD. I think it was a skull probe. Seeing as how it didn't really react to anything other then looking.
It was most likely a sergeant/captain, not a skull probe.
Yeah, probably something along the lines of this

Did not know that, quite informative.

Do they really need reminding to kill the heretics enough that it's on their visors?
Don't be so quick to jump to that conclusion. Stormtroopers are taken from birth, mind-wiped, given powerful augmentations and carapace armor, and shoved into conflicts that make Reach look like a skirmish.
I'm late to this, but IIRC Stormtroopers aren't mind-wiped. Why would nobles be taken in the ranks if they are mind-wiped?
Do they really need reminding to kill the heretics enough that it's on their visors?
It's a Blood Raven HUD.
It's reminding them to not get distracted by the relics.

That's obviously a secondary order after they've stolen all the relics.

Evidently there's quite a lot of relics, because that's the thirteenth objective.
That reminds me, do the Blood Ravens even have a fortress monastery anymore? I believe their old one was on that planed that got a face full of exterminatus before DoW 2, but how about now?

Blood Ravens chapter master after the events of retribution.

Blood Ravens Fortress Monastery.
Even Trazyn's archive does not hold that many relics.

I thought they used some Battle Barge as Fortress-Monestary.
The black library is actually a catalog of all the relics in the possession on the Blood Ravens.

They probably 'borrowed' one from the ultramarines

Cyrene?
I don't think there was any Blood Ravens fortress monastery on Cyrene.
I thought Blood Ravens were loyalist Thousand Sons?
I thought Blood Ravens were loyalist Thousand Sons?
No, but there are many hints to the fact that the Blood Ravens are descendents of the Thousand Sons.

Blood Ravens have always been fleet-based. And there's no info yet on who they descend from but knowing GW and plot-progression, we'll probably never know.
What? Tyranids are immune to Tau pulse weapons? where did you get this from?
You didn't know? The strain that attacked their homeland developed the immunity during the invasion.
Do they really need reminding to kill the heretics enough that it's on their visors?
One can never kill enough Heretics.

Does that mean Chaos has a relic-thieving chapter too? They need to get together and plunder the galaxy of it's relics.

IIRC Thousand Sons are also all over relics, especially with Ahriman trying to get hold of the Black Library.

Speaking of Ahriman, I finally ordered his model a few days ago. Cant wait till it gets here.

Maybe skulls are considered relics among Chaos Space Marines and Khorne is the god of Relics.
Mind = blown

I haven't been fully up to date with W40K for a few years, i think the latest Ork Codex had just been released when i stopped.
Just found out there's a game store that sells 40k stuff and hosts tournaments about 15-20 minutes away from me.
It's kind of a shame though since it's located in the shittiest town of my state. Not a very nice place to get lost in, for sure.
It all falls down to what equipment the teams have, and who is leading them. The only real way to find out who would win would be a flat-out simulation, but obviously that's not going to happen.
In the end, that wouldn't matter if you pit the Halo humans against the WH40K humans.
Tyranids will win, and the Blood Ravens will loot everything afterwards.
I bet at the ending of Chaos Rising where the Force Commander goes into the warp, once he comes back in a thousand years, he will have tons of ultramarine relics and will be greeted back into the chapter not because of his triumph, but because all of his relics.

Penance crusades are one hundred years.

Still gives him enough time to steal half of Ultramar.
